Breaking Mr. Cold (Giselle and Donovan) novel Chapter 393

"What's wrong? Is Sebastian unable to satisfy you?"

Vivienne's expression darkened again at the topic. She sounded exasperated. "Well, even you call him an idiot. Whatever. I don't wanna talk about him now."

To cheer herself up, she collected herself and teased Giselle, "Hey, didn't you sleep with Gideon before? Tell me… who's better—Gideon or Donovan?"

Giselle had wanted to ignore that question, but upon noticing Vivienne perking up at the topic, she replied dismissively, "What do you think?"

"Ahem. I think Gideon is better. He looks like a stud who'll ride you to death. Your CEO husband is different—he looks aloof, elegant, fussy, and boring. He doesn't seem like he's into women. I'd believe you if you told me he was gay! Haha!"

Her comments tickled Giselle, who had the same perception of Donovan when they first met. Giselle assumed that he didn't have a high sex drive until they got together. That was when she saw his wild, uninhibited side that was different from his usual image.

Donovan always looked serious and celibate. He never set his eyes on pretty ladies, not even the stunning beauties that attracted most men.

Giselle was the only woman who won his heart at first sight. He unleashed all his kinks on her. When they were done, he'd revert back to the inexperienced gentleman he was.

Giselle received a Whatsapp audio message from Donovan at that moment. She played it, and his voice boomed.

"Babe, I'm going to Jorgeton tonight. Will be home late. Don't wait for me." He spoke in a deep, gentle yet indulgent voice. It was slow and drawn out—the kind of voice that gave one a total eargasm.

"Is that your husband speaking?" Vivienne found it rather unbelievable. "He calls you babe! Gosh, I didn't know Donovan was like that in private. Both of you look so happy together!"

"Breaking up is not bad news." Giselle nonchalantly took a sip of water. "It's better you stay away from him. I don't want you to become Renee's daughter-in-law."

Vivienne let out a sad chuckle. "Yeah. I shouldn't be delusional. He and I don't belong to the same world."

Giselle had a bad feeling when Vivienne's mood tanked. It didn't help that Vivienne's words were emotional and odd.

"What's wrong, Vivi?"

After a long pause, Vivienne finally nodded. She began with a heavy heart, "Yeah. I'm meeting you today for help on a serious matter."
