Donovan was slightly taken aback by Giselle's arrogant attitude as well. He didn't say a word and simply glared at her with a cold look on his face.

Then, Giselle realized that she'd reacted too aggressively. They were still in a meeting, and their marriage hadn't been officially announced yet. It was incredibly disrespectful of her to raise her voice at the CEO of the company like that.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Kane. As a vet, I've treated hundreds and thousands of animals. Personally, I think I know more about veterinarian medicine than any of you here. Now that I'm fully in charge of this department, I'd appreciate it if you're not excessively involved in the matter."

Giselle had clearly inherited Tony's gift for veterinary research. She was incredibly talented and passionate about the subject. Despite how young she was, she was just as capable as an experienced professor.

As someone who'd been interested in animals since a very young age, she was essentially a walking encyclopedia of animals. She was familiar with birds, reptiles, fish and all sorts of domestic and wild creatures.

Through years of formal education and hands-on experience as a veterinarian, she had long since become an expert on animal health. Over time, she had even developed her own theories in the field.

However, she'd just yelled at Donovan with an obnoxious and arrogant attitude. Everyone in the meeting room thought that she'd gone mad. Staring at her with contempt, they were all waiting for her to get fired from her job.

Donovan's expression darkened, but he still tried his best to keep his cool. He didn't lash out at her immediately and still allowed her to express her opinion.

Giselle continued, "Kane Pharmaceutical Group is a pharmaceutical giant. Our company is a global leader in human pharmaceutical R&D, but our capabilities in our veterinary drug sector are still relatively weak.

"We have a tendency to cut corners in order to maximize our profits. So, I propose that we shift our focus toward the high-end market. Let's cease all production of substandard products and invest heavily in the development of new ones instead…"

Donovan leaned back in his chair with his arms crossed. He was staring at Giselle with an emotionless expression, but he was secretly impressed by the way she was speaking to the group.

At first, he thought she was just a thrill-seeker who enjoyed the outdoors. Aside from being able to perform minor medical procedures on cats and dogs, he didn't think she was capable of much else. She was loud, restless and hot-headed. She hardly seemed like the type to settle down and focus on anything serious.
