Zachary had only come to Donovan's office to find him. But the moment he stepped inside, he realized he'd walked straight into the middle of a fistfight. He immediately lunged at Gideon.

"You bastard!" The sight of his half-brother alone was enough to set Zachary on fire.

As if he'd seen his lifelong nemesis, he swung his fist at Gideon without hesitation, sending it crashing into Gideon's face.

Before Gideon could react, Zachary grabbed a chair and smashed it against him in a frenzy.

"You're nothing but a fucking sewer rat!" he shouted, ramming the chair into Gideon repeatedly. "Instead of hiding in the gutter where you belong, how dare you come here and lay your hand on my uncle? I'll beat you until you remember your place!"

The first few blows caught Gideon off guard, but once his reflexes kicked in, the tables turned quickly. His years of special forces training made him dangerous once he went all out.

With sheer force, he wrenched the chair from Zachary's hands and drove a heavy kick into his gut, sending him sprawling across the carpet.

Zachary could barely get back on his feet before Gideon lunged, pinning him down. He rained punches on Zachary, eyes bloodshot with fury. He couldn't stop.

Seeing Zachary on the losing end, Donovan rushed forward to pull Gideon off while calling his assistant to bring security.

Gideon had been punching Zachary when Donovan suddenly got in his way. Enraged, he whipped around to swing at Donovan too.

That jolted Zachary back into action. Despite his blurred vision, he dragged himself up—and with a sudden burst of strength, he tackled Gideon to the ground again.

The office dissolved into chaos. Almost everything inside was smashed to pieces, and the two men fought like they meant to kill each other.

Their fight had gotten so intense that Donovan couldn't even get close when he tried to break them apart. In the end, he stepped aside and called the police.

"Where are you right now?" she asked quickly.

"At the hospital."

"I heard Gideon and Zachary got into a huge fight. What on earth happened? How are they now?"

Silence stretched on the other end before Donovan said, "If you're that worried, come visit them at the hospital yourself."

The weight of those words left Giselle stunned for a few seconds.

"Why would I?" she retorted, feigning cheerfulness. "I'm just worried about you. If you're fine, that's enough. I've got two meetings this afternoon. I don't have time to drop by…"
