Breaking Mr. Cold (Giselle and Donovan) novel Chapter 446

After hanging up the phone, Giselle sat in her office for a long time, restless and uneasy. She knew exactly why Gideon and Zachary had gotten into a fight. The reason was obvious.

But when she recalled the details of her past with both men and their ties to Donovan, she felt a wave of unprecedented embarrassment.

She couldn't understand why fate had played such a cruel joke on her. Every man she had met by chance turned out to be connected. And because of her, they had become sworn enemies, fighting as if only one could survive.

She had to admit the Kanes were right—she was nothing but a whore who was destined to ruin whoever got close.

But at this rate, there was nothing she could do. Other than staying cold and indifferent to all this, no better option remained.

At the hospital, the Kanes gathered in Zachary's ward.

After a thorough examination and treatment, it turned out that his injuries were quite severe. He was suffering from a concussion, bruised lungs, and multiple cuts and scrapes. He would need at least two weeks of bed rest before being discharged.

He'd already survived a terrible car accident, and now he was almost beaten to death.

Grace stayed at his bedside, weeping as she yelled at Ethan, "Do you see now, you old bastard? This is all your fault! Look at what your illegitimate brat did to your son.

"He's nothing short of a monster. I can't believe he'd hurt Zach so badly—he was trying to murder him!"
