When she accessed Donovan's WhatsApp, she found that the picture was sent by Cecilia.
At that moment, she suddenly remembered catching a sight of Cecilia's figure when she was leaving Gideon's hospital room earlier.
So it was Cecilia who had secretly taken her picture once again.
Upon realizing the truth, her first reaction wasn't guilt toward Donovan, but a surge of deep anger.
She immediately rushed upstairs, stormed into the bedroom, threw his phone onto the bed, and confronted him righteously.
"Why are you still keeping this woman's contact? What exactly is your relationship with her? Has she become your spy now, monitoring my every move for you? So if she makes up some story and sends it to you, you can just convict me on the spot?" Giselle demanded.
Donovan stood with both hands in his pockets, his back to her as he faced out the window.
He shut his eyes with contempt. "I'm not in the mood to listen to your excuses, nor do I wish to waste another word. Sign the divorce agreement as soon as possible and move out of here."
Hearing such merciless words, Giselle's breath caught. She just stared at his back in silence, unable to speak for a long time.
She was familiar with Donovan's heartlessness.
When he was in a good mood, he could spoil her and pamper her like a pet.
But the moment his boundaries were crossed, he could throw her out without hesitation.
Giselle had wanted to explain everything to him, but she realized she didn't even know where to begin.
It was true that she went to visit Gideon and got forcibly kissed by him.
There wasn't even a loophole for her to exploit in her defense. Any attempt at explanation would only further enrage him.
She thought about using the same old trick, admitting fault, acting cute, and using her own body to melt his defense.
But seeing that he was acting as cold as an iceberg, she gave up.
