The next morning, Ethan flew in on his private jet and arrived at the hospital in Hanalua.

"Don!" Ethan burst into the room and rushed to Donovan's bedside. "How are you feeling? Were you badly hurt?"

"What are you doing here?" Donovan was a little puzzled.

"Giselle called me yesterday afternoon and told me you two ran into trouble, so I flew over as soon as I could!" Ethan's eyes were filled with concern. "What on earth happened? I thought this place was supposed to be safe. How did you end up in danger on the island?"

Ethan felt a little guilty when his eyes landed on her. After all, he was the one who had orchestrated Giselle's death.

"That's enough. I'm fine. You can go now." No matter how much time had passed, Donovan still hadn't forgiven Ethan for what he'd done back then, and he didn't want to talk to him either.
