All those years chasing after business deals had blinded them, and they knew they owed Abriella more than they could ever repay.

Mrs. Sullivan seemed to snap back to reality. She pressed the heavy bag of fruit into Abriella’s arms, then squeezed the card into her hand. “Eat something on the road, okay? It’ll be cold over there, so wear something warm.”
