Even in Darkness She Chose to Rise (Tatiana and Jasper) novel Chapter 215

**Even the Night Couldn’t Silence Her Light**

**Chapter 215: Missing Again**

Tatiana sat in the quiet room, her heart racing as she reviewed the score before her. The notes danced across the page, each one a testament to the talent that had birthed them. After a long pause, she fell silent, her mind racing with the implications of what she had just discovered. The terms set forth by Thousand Corp suddenly made sense, and she felt a mix of excitement and trepidation wash over her. She swallowed hard, her eyes glistening as they roamed over the beautifully crafted score.

“This… this song…” Tatiana stammered, her voice barely above a whisper, as if she feared the very air might shatter the moment.

“Pretty good, right?” Anna interjected, her enthusiasm palpable.

“Pretty good? This is nothing short of spectacular! This song has the potential to sweep awards off the shelves!” Tatiana’s excitement bubbled over. As someone deeply entrenched in the music industry, Anna had a keen sense for talent, and she recognized the brilliance that radiated from the composition. HJ Entertainment was undoubtedly going to regret letting such a gifted composer slip through their fingers.

Tatiana beamed at the praise. “Thank you for the compliment,” she replied, her voice filled with genuine gratitude.

“No, I mean it. You are incredibly talented!” Anna said earnestly, her hands gently returning the score, careful not to mar its pristine quality. Tatiana could sense Anna’s eagerness, the anticipation for the moment when someone would breathe life into her creation, filling the air with its melody.

After a flurry of emails and discussions, Tatiana forwarded her resume to Thousand Corp, and the offer was swiftly finalized. In a show of respect for her artistry, the company granted her the liberty to choose the singer who would perform her song, a decision free from any external influence.

Yet, this newfound freedom posed a dilemma for Tatiana. Who could possibly sing it? Certainly not her; her face might be unfamiliar, but the lingering absence of her tongue remained a barrier. Although her speech had improved, the ability to sing professionally was still beyond her reach.

In response to Tatiana’s request, Thousand Corp organized an internal showcase, gathering all their singers for auditions. One by one, they stepped forward, each filled with hope and ambition, but when the final note faded, not a single one had captured Tatiana’s vision.

Anna, who had successfully joined Thousand Corp as an agent, was present during the auditions. Though she was not in a position of authority, she felt invigorated by the vibrant atmosphere of creativity surrounding her.

“What kind of voice are you envisioning for this piece?” Anna inquired, her curiosity piqued.

Tatiana paused, her brow furrowing in contemplation. “They’re all incredibly talented, but something feels off. I need more time to think this through,” she replied, her voice laced with uncertainty.

Time was on her side; the company was patient, allowing her the space to make a decision without pressure.

Meanwhile, HJ Entertainment was spiraling into desperation. They bombarded Tatiana with calls, attempting to negotiate for the rights to the song that Bianca had shamelessly plagiarized, even offering a handsome sum. But Tatiana stood firm, clutching the piece tightly, unwilling to let it go.

In the midst of all this, Anna received a tantalizing tidbit of gossip from a former colleague. “Harpie is throwing a massive tantrum over at HJ. He insists that they use that song as their single. Can you believe it? They’ve tried so many composers, but no one can seem to write something that fits! Tavin is getting absolutely roasted!” she chuckled, the amusement evident in her tone.

“Let them sweat a little longer,” Anna advised, her eyes gleaming with mischief. “They’ll definitely raise their offer. Right now, they’re still trying to play tough and lowball you. They can dream all they want!”

Tatiana had every intention of doing just that. The financial incentive was too good to pass up, and as long as HJ offered a fair price, why not let them have it?

As they wrapped up for the day, Anna offered, “Let me give you a ride home!”
