**TITLE: Even the Night Couldn’t Silence Her Light 229**
**Chapter 229: Sexual Harassment!**
“Your flowers have arrived again. Today, they’re pink roses!”
The moment the words left her colleague’s lips, Tatiana’s expression darkened, the displeasure evident even behind her mask. “Just throw them out,” she replied, her tone clipped.
“Throw them out? What a shame! They’re so beautiful and must have cost a fortune!”
“Not a shame at all. If you want them, take them.”
“Thanks!”
With that, Tatiana turned on her heel, her heart racing with embarrassment. How utterly humiliating!
As she exited her office, a group of young women gathered nearby, their voices a flurry of excitement.
“What kind of flowers are they today? They look stunning!”
“These are a type of pink rose, quite rare around here. They probably came by air freight. A bouquet like that must cost a small fortune! I wonder who’s being so generous?”
“I’m so envious of Tati! She’s being pursued so ardently! A bouquet every single day, and they’re never the same!”
“I really want to see what Tati looks like! She must be stunning! Why else would someone chase her with such fervor?”
At that moment, a sharp, disdainful voice cut through the chatter. “She’s probably ugly, obviously. Why else would she hide behind a mask? Acting all mysterious—so pretentious.”
“Cheryl, how can you say such things about Ms. Tati?” one of the women protested, her brow furrowing in disbelief.
“Am I wrong? If you were truly pretty, would you cover your face like that?”
The woman who had been questioned fell silent, suddenly unsure of how to respond.
Cheryl pressed on, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “You all just fawn over her. Hmph. You think she even notices you?”
The others chose to ignore her, aware that Cheryl harbored some deep-seated issues with Tatiana.
Meanwhile, the beautiful pink roses were distributed among the staff, illuminating their desks with vibrant color.
As Anna strolled past, she caught sight of the flowers and made her way to Tatiana’s office. “Today’s flowers are lovely! From the mystery man again? Are you sure you don’t want to give him a chance?”
“Not interested,” Tatiana replied curtly, her frustration bubbling just beneath the surface.
In the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of the trash bin, where a torn card lay discarded. The card bore the same repetitive message: “May you like it, bringing me joy.” It was typed, devoid of any personal touch, and the monotony of it all was driving her to the brink of insanity. This was not romance; it was harassment! And she felt utterly powerless to stop it.
She had blocked the number, cutting off the incessant texts that had once plagued her, but the flowers continued to arrive. The only small comfort was that they weren’t arriving in truckloads anymore.
Anna chuckled, a teasing glint in her eyes. “The entire company knows you’re being pursued with such passion. The younger girls are practically green with envy.”
“A blessing I can’t enjoy. Maybe I should just hand him over to you,” Tatiana replied with a sigh, her eyes rolling slightly.
