“Your cooking is out of this world! I could smell the deliciousness from outside!” I exclaimed with genuine admiration.

At my words, Roger laughed heartily, his face flushed from the stove’s heat, “Natalie, I’m not just bragging. In the Sanchez family, when it comes to cooking, if I’m second, no one dares to claim first! You’re in for a treat today!”

His booming and humorous words had everyone in the kitchen chuckling, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere.

Fiona leaned over and whispered in my ear with a smile, “He loves to be complimented. With your sweet talk, he’ll be on cloud nine today!”
