I Owe the Tyrant Four Little Heirs novel Chapter 204

“Are you still going to play dumb with me, Cassian?” Ffion pressed, her voice sharp and accusatory. “If you don’t want me to make a scene at your office, you have two choices. Either you confess, or you pay me for the thirty years of my life I wasted on you. Otherwise, I’ll make your life a living hell.”

Cassian just shook his head, his disappointment in her reaching a new low. He used to think she was just cruel to him and Niamh because she disliked Niamh, but now he saw the truth. The woman’s soul was rotten to the core; she was utterly depraved. He was glad they were divorced.

“Do whatever you want,” Cassian said, his voice glacial. He turned to go inside, but Ffion blocked his path.

“You haven’t answered my question, Cassian,” she seethed.

“I have nothing to say to you,” he replied grimly. “We’re divorced. Stop harassing me.”

He couldn't believe he’d been blind enough to marry a woman like her, let alone spend three decades with her.

“When did you get together with that woman?” Ffion demanded again.

Cassian’s patience snapped. “Ffion, you are a complete lunatic!”

No matter how awful she had been, he had never considered cheating on her. He truly had no idea who she was talking about.

“So that’s why you left with nothing,” Ffion sneered. “You’d already found yourself a sugar mama! I never would have guessed, Cassian, a man who looks like you, landing a rich woman. Since you’re so well off now, give me another three hundred thousand for my wasted youth, and I’ll leave you alone. We’ll go our separate ways. If you don’t, I’ll haunt you for the rest of your life!”
