I Owe the Tyrant Four Little Heirs novel Chapter 205

“And one more thing,” Cassian added, his voice cold as ice. “That dog was worth thousands. If you’re not prepared to pay for it, I will take legal action to make sure you do.”

Lyric was heartbroken, but she understood what Cassian was doing. He was just trying to get rid of Ffion.

“Cassian, you—” Ffion sputtered, so enraged she could barely form a sentence. “You… I’ll kill you!”

She lunged at Lyric again.

Suddenly, several men in dark suits appeared out of nowhere. They grabbed Ffion’s arms, restraining her before she could land another blow.

Just then, Jareth wheeled himself out of the apartment, his gaze fixed on her with cold contempt. Niamh was truly unlucky to have a stepmother like this. But her father, Cassian, was even unluckier. To think his future father-in-law had lived with a woman like that for thirty years—it was terrifying.

“Hey, who are you people?” Ffion shrieked, struggling against their grip. “What are you doing? Let go of me! I don’t know you!”

Her protests were useless. The men held her fast.

Just then, her phone rang. One of the men glanced at Jareth, who gave a slight nod. They released her.

Ffion looked at the caller ID and her face paled. It was the chairman’s office.

Why would the chairman be calling her at this hour? A knot of dread tightened in her stomach.
