I Welcome Your Rejection: Angel Kings’ Proud Mate novel Chapter 80

Ira’s POV

“The angel kings are getting what they deserved, Ira. They tortured you, remember? You shouldn’t be concerned about them, “Lior says as he carries me in his arms far behind Luminis.

“You and your master are about to get what you deserve too. The white angel won’t be imprisoning anyone this time,” my father warms as he walks behind us.

He wasn’t strong enough to carry me and our enemies wouldn’t leave me. The dark angel created a portal that landed us in the small palace of Wolfsburg. I wonder if it might take long for my other mates to find us. Adon is already locked up in one of the rooms where Luminis cast another spell to drain his powers. I wish they left me there too, but it appears that Luminis wants me and my father within his sight. They also brought the weak former King of Lordsland, Osmund, and locked him in another room. It’s like he was reborn without a functioning brain as he hasn’t said a word so far. Why doesn’t he seem to recognise even Adon? Lysandra said that he would need more of my brain to return to his former self. Luminis us only interested in using him as another leverage against his brother because the angel kings might care about the father who raised them. I hope they will be reasonable enough to let the men rest.

“I do not intend to be a servant of Luminis for long. It appears even he is a big coward of his brother. I will soon find a way to get you two out of here. Then we will find a kingdom to conquer and rule after all the mighty men have destroyed each other,” Lior says.

“I used to think that you’re a noble man, but it appears that you were full of greed and envy like everyone else. I have no desire to conquer any kingdom,” I say.

He can drop me if he wants. But I would rather die than agree with someone who seeks the death of my mates. At least they have changed into better people, he has turned into jerk.

“I will save you nevertheless. You will change your mind once you realise what a precious opportunity we will have,” he replies dismissively.

Luminis enters into the throne room and King Ademon and his soldiers fall to their knees in front of him. Lior follows them inside.

“Mighty Luminis, thank you for gracing my home with your presence. I have ordered my servants to prepare a banquet in celebration and to honour you,” the ugly alpha king reports.

Looks like Andria took after someone, her father. Usually I wouldn’t judge anyone by their physical appearance, however Andria and her father have their ugliness on the inside too. They plotted to fool the angel kings by faking the gift of controlling beasts using my mother’s blood. The ugly king got massive fortune from the angel kings. I wonder how he feels now about their wicked decisions. Is he aware that his daughter is dead?

“Prepare no parties. You must not let anyone know that we are here, not until my enemies are fully destroyed,” the dark angel responds. “Your servants should prepare a comfortable place for the Princess of Levitts and feed her well. Her blood is important to me. I cannot have it until she has regained her strength,” he adds.

So he plans to make himself stronger with my blood? That won’t be happening. I will pretend to be weak until the end of days. “My men will do as you ask. May I know who are these enemies that worries you, you lord?” King Ademon questions.

“My brother. If his other offsprings requested his help he might already be in this world. I can destroy him after taking the Levitt’s blood,” Luminis responds.

King Ademon appears disappointed and afraid. He must have realised that even their pretentious “lord” is afraid of the white angel. They are no longer confident of victory.

“I haven’t seen or heard from my daughter since I heard that the angel kings had tortured her and that they were going to have her executed. I have been worried sick. I heard a rumour that she was seen with Lysandra in the witchemls. My hope is that they have been serving you. Can I see her my lord?” King Ademon requests, still on his knees.

“Your daughter was turned into a fake Levitt by the witch to fool me. They are all dead,” Luminis answers in scold tone. “No! That can’t… be! I am nothing without my daughter!” King Ademon bursts into tears. His soldiers seem just as devasted.
