Inferno Demon Riders MC: My Five Obsessed Bullies novel Chapter 124

Kylian/Karma’s P.O.V.

~A Few Days Later~

“Thought you said you were going to give us an answer about Havoc by now?” Ps.ycho asked me. This time, in front of everyone. Well, not everyone, but enough people to pi.ss me off. “It’s been days. We even patched in Rubble (Dev) and Gunner (Johnny) tonight. You have like two days left before Rex wants his answer.”

“Will you shut the hell up!?” I snapped at him.

“He’s right,” Dragon chimed in. “You need to make a decision. Now. Just let Havoc go to Blythe. Please, man. I’m begging you at this point.”

CG scoffed, earning a glare from Dragon.

“You two need to get the fu.ck over your feelings,” Dragon bit out. “I’m fu.cking sick of this sh.it. I just got my hands on our girl, and now she hates me. All because of you fu.cks. Havoc fu.cked up and deserves to pay, but… Damn, at what cost? You two need to get over the fact that he lied to you.”

“He betrayed us,” I stated. “How am I supposed to trust him again?”

Dragon scoffed as he shook his head.

“Havoc did lie. Maybe it was even a betrayal,” he said. “But he would never put your lives in danger. He was just a dumb kid who thought he was doing the right thing.”

“He watched us drown without her,” CG finally chimed in. “I was completely dead inside. And he could have come clean at any moment-”

“And you could have looked harder for her,” Dragon cut him off. “You could have gone nomad, traveled, eventually found her. That’s what I was gonna do as soon as my last fight was over. Instead, you let yourself drown. And yeah, Havoc could have come clean. He should have. But he was probably terrified. Terrified that we’d treat him exactly like we are. That none of us would ever forgive him. And after finding out what he sent Blythe back to… I can’t imagine how he probably feels.”

No one had a thing to say about that.

“Have you even been down to see him?” Psy.cho asked me.

“Not since we threw him down there,” I mumbled. “Rubble and Gunner were takin‘ turns checkin‘ on him and feedin‘ him.”

“So, you’re just ignoring it all, hoping it goes away?” My VP asked. “Might as well give him to Blythe.”

“It’s not enough,” CG muttered. “Not after what he did.”

“What do you think?” I asked the Rossi brothers.

They all looked between each other and back to me.

“Uh… you really want our opinions?” Mattia asked awkwardly. “We barely know-”

“I think you all have a point,” Leo cut him off, speaking plainly like he usually does. “He’s your brother, and loyalty is everything in a motorcycle club. However, people make mistakes all the time. We’ve had family members who’ve lost fingers, toes, ears, even tongues because of their lies, but were still kept on. It was about whether we could build trust again or not. So, the real question here isn’t how badly he fu.cked up, but would you be able to restore trust again?”

“That’s a very good point,” I mused.

“I think we could,” Ps.ycho said and Dragon nodded in agreement.

“CG?” I asked.

He shook his head, his jaw clenched.

“I don’t know,” he said.

“Personally,” Mattia chimed in. “I think you could. I think you’re just hurting right now, and that’s completely understandable.”

“I mean, at the end of the day, wasn’t Blythe hurt the most?” Tony added. “If she could work on forgiving him… shouldn’t the rest of you be able to?”

“I agree with my brothers,” Luca said. “I know we aren’t very close to you all, but I saw the way that he looked at Blythe the night of the fight. He felt guilty. If you think you could forgive him. and build trust again, then cut him some slack.”

“It’s not enough,” CG muttered.

“I’m sure whatever Blythe has in store for him will be,” Mattia mumbled under his breath.

True. Blythe has been challenging me at every turn. If our rat tells Rex about this, it’ll be a problem. A big problem.

“Hey guys.”

I looked up to see Bonnie at our table with a tray of beers in her hands.

“Why are you servin‘?” I grumbled.

“I’m not,” she replied. “Just bringin‘ you guys drinks.”

“Oh, let me help you with that,” Mattia rushed out as he stood up to grab the tray. “Looks heavy,” he said, smiling at my baby sister.

Bonnie looked up at him, her eyes widening slightly. She blushed and I frowned. Which deepened when I noticed Mattia looking at her a bit too long.

“I’m Mattia, by the way,” he said to her.

“Uhm, Bonnie,” my sister replied.

“Bonnie… what a cute name. Very fitting,” Mattia said, laying it on thick.

What the hell am I watching?

“Oh, uhm,” Bonnie said, shaking her head and looking at us again. “I have a message for you four.”

“A message?” Psy.cho asked.

“Yeah, ‘cause ya know, you pi.ssed off your ol‘ lady, and now she won’t talk to any of you,” she said flatly, making Dragon groan dramatically. “Sooooo, anyway,” Bonnie continued as she looked each of us in the eyes. “She told me to tell you that… as soon as you make the right d ecision, she’s ready to be claimed. Already has Ma workin‘ on her cut, and…” she trailed off as her eyes went to CG. “She said to have your tattoo gun ready.” CG went rigid at that. “That was all! Bye!” Bonnie rushed out before scurrying off.

“Tell me that she ain’t a club girl or someone’s ol‘ lady,” Mattia practically begged as he watched her dash off to the other side of the room.

“She’s my baby sister,” I bit out.

Mattia stiffened and his eyes widened. He turned to me, gaping like a fish for a moment. I just held his gaze, daring him to say something stupid.

“I think I’m in love with your sister,” he blurted.

“You just met her,” Tony said, rolling his eyes.

“You’re going to get yourself killed,” Leo said, amused.

“Bro, I don’t care,” Mattia replied as he looked over at Bonnie again. “She’s stunning. She single?”

“Mattia,” Luca scolded.

“Is she off–limits?” Mattia asked me, frowning. “I promise to treat her right. She’s the kinda girl you don’t let get hurt. That kind you hold onto forever.”

“Again, you just met her,” Tony said.

“I can’t deal with this on top of everythin‘ else,” I grumbled as I stood up.

Without another word, I left the common room where the party was taking place. I made my way to the door of the basement, and just stood there. I wasn’t sure how long I was there for or what I was even doing. I kept thinking about what everyone said.

Part of me knows that Ps.ycho and Dragon only want to forgive Havoc to have Blythe back. CG is so angry, I’m not sure if he’ll ever forgive Havoc. I’m not even sure that Bythe has forgiven him.

Part of me knows that the Rossi brothers were right. People make mistakes. As leaders, we punish them after deciding if they can still be trustworthy again. I just have to ask myself if we can all get over this.

“You’re really thinking about letting him off the hook, aren’t you?”

I looked over at CG who was leaning against the wall a few feet away.

“Not off the hook,” I said. “I been wonderin‘ if we could all forgive him one day.”

“After what he did?” CG spat.

I sighed.

“I can understand why he would have been afraid to tell us,” I said. “As far as he knew, Blythe was safe and happy.”

“We weren’t,” CG countered. “Angie tried to kill herself for fu.ck’s sake.”

“Angie has forgiven him,” I told him.

“What?” CG bit out.

“She came to see me a few days ago,” I said. “Wanted to know if I was keepin‘ him because of her. Told me that she’d already forgiven him. Bly apparently told them when she’d come clean about everythin‘. Bly thought it was the five of us though. They wanted her to find out the truth from us, since they didn’t really know either. But Angie said that she understood better than anyone that people sometimes make stupid mistakes. Sometimes those mistakes grow bigger because of fear. She said that if we all played the blame game, fingers would be pointed in every direction. Nobody’s perfect, but what matters is that we try to be better people. She said she ain’t got no room left in her heart for hate. Especially for a man she’s always thought of as her son.”

“Are you saying Havoc’s trying to be a better person?” CG asked angrily.

“I don’t know,” I answered honestly. “I think he was tryin‘ to tell me, tryin‘ to come clean despite knowin‘ the possible outcome.” Then I looked at CG again. “But I’m tryina figure out if I’m becomin‘ a better person too. I want to be better. I think… after everythin‘ Bly deserves that, right?”

“We’re part of a fu.cking MC,” CG stated. “This sh.it ain’t sunshine and rainbows.”

“You’re right, it’s not,” I agreed. “But with her here… lovin‘ us… it sure feels like fu.cking brighter here, don’t it?”

CG’s face softened as he looked away.

“I don’t know if I can forgive him,” he whispered.

“I won’t make a final decision until I know where we all stand,” I told him. “I’m not sure if I can forgive him either, but I’m willin‘ to try. Not just for Blythe, but because he still feels like my brother to me.”

CG clenched his jaw, looking thoughtful for a moment.

“You gonna take his cut?” he asked.

“If I do, Rex is gonna wanna know what for,” I said. “Not sure what kinda lie I can tell him for strippin‘ a brother’s cut, but still keepin‘ him around.”

“Then make him fu.cking prospect at least,” CG grumbled.

“I can do that,” I replied, nodding. “I can give him a prospect cut, strip him of all privileges, and give him to Blythe.”

“Fine,” he ground out. “Whatever.”

With that, CG turned around and stormed off, leaving me to follow through with my decision.
