Oops I Banged the CEO novel Chapter 102

“Really?”

“Really.” Yvonne smiled softly.

“Alright then.” Nydia didn’t push any further. She helped Yvonne into the car, and everyone headed home.

That was close. She’d hoped a little wine would help her get through the evening, but even a couple of sips had left her dizzy.

Yvonne was about to ask the driver to take her near her apartment so she could arrange another ride home, but before she could speak, the female driver answered a call.

“Mr. Hamilton? I have her. We should be there in about half an hour.”

Mr. Hamilton!

Yvonne’s eyes widened in surprise at the name.

Was this one of Marico’s people?

“You’re…”

“Mr. Hamilton asked me to pick you up, ma’am. Why don’t you get some rest? We’ll be home soon.”

“Oh, thank you.” Yvonne flushed, both embarrassed and flustered.

She slumped onto the back seat, nerves jangling, then resigned herself to whatever would happen. Eventually, she closed her eyes and drifted off, thinking, Whatever happens, happens.

The car wound through the gates of the estate, finally stopping in front of the grand house. When the driver got out and opened the rear door, she found Yvonne fast asleep.

A tall figure strode out of the house. The driver called quietly, “Mr. Hamilton, she’s fallen asleep.”

He carried her into her bedroom, but something on the vanity caught his eye—a shopping bag, casually tossed aside. He barely spared it a glance before heading straight into the bathroom, intending to place her in the warm bath to help her sober up.

But as soon as he dipped her in the water, he remembered it was her time of the month. Without a second thought, he scooped her right back up.

Sensing she was about to be abandoned, Yvonne tightened her grip, burying her face in the crook of his neck.

“Mmm… don’t leave me,” she whimpered, her voice small and sweet, equal parts needy and playful, still thick with sleep.

Marico’s throat tightened, and he muttered, half exasperated, half amused, “I never thought I’d be undone by you.”

He was irritated that she’d let herself be bullied without saying a word, and even more annoyed she was out drinking late instead of coming home. But what frustrated him most was that he couldn’t bring himself to be angry at this tipsy little troublemaker.

Yvonne, sensing she’d almost been discarded, snapped awake in alarm.
