Oops I Banged the CEO novel Chapter 118

Compared to the first time Yvonne had met her, Mrs. Hamilton looked a bit more tired and frail.

This time, though, the old lady seemed far more enthusiastic—almost overwhelmingly so. Yvonne could barely keep up with her warmth.

“Not yet,” Yvonne admitted honestly, unable to lie to Mrs. Hamilton.

Mrs. Hamilton’s eyes darted to Marico, her tone sharpening as she shot him a glare. “You hopeless boy! Is this how you handle things?”

Ignoring Marico’s expression, Mrs. Hamilton turned back to Yvonne, her face softening with grandmotherly affection. “Don’t mind him, dear. He’s a bit clueless—first time in a relationship, you know. He’ll catch on.”

“Gran, can we just eat?” Marico cut in with a low voice, clearly uncomfortable.

Yvonne sensed a hint of gossip and grinned. “He’s thirty, though! How do you know this is really his first relationship?”

Mrs. Hamilton winked knowingly. “Sweetheart, experience comes with age, and I know my grandson inside out. He’s never shown the slightest interest in anyone—male or female. I worried he might have… issues, lost sleep over it, even ended up in the hospital from the stress!”

She finished with a teasing, half-disgusted look at Marico, making Yvonne stifle a laugh.

Marico shot her a warning glance as he stepped forward, and Yvonne quickly tried to compose herself. “You’re impressive, Mrs. Hamilton.”

Still, Yvonne wasn’t convinced Marico had never been in a relationship. He was simply too good at all this: the way he’d kissed her the first time, the way he held her that whole night—it didn’t feel like the work of a beginner.

Well, except maybe the first time, which had been a bit… brief. But after that, he proved himself more than capable.

Just thinking about it sent a flush of heat to Yvonne’s cheeks.

“Alright, enough chatter. Let’s eat,” Mrs. Hamilton called out, bustling toward the dining table.

“I’m just curious… Was your first kiss with me, too? Because you sure seemed to know what you were doing.” Her voice was sugary sweet, the teasing unmistakable.

“Know what I’m doing?” Marico’s hands paused mid-wash, his eyes narrowing dangerously. “And what are you comparing me to?”

Yvonne giggled but didn’t answer.

He wasn’t about to let her off the hook. Marico pinched her cheek gently, jaw tight. “Tell me the truth.”

“Oh, it’s ancient history. Let’s not talk about it.” Truth was, Marico was the only man she’d ever kissed.

But seeing how much he cared, Yvonne couldn’t resist pushing his buttons just a little.
