Oops I Banged the CEO novel Chapter 86

When she heard the word “period,” Marico’s breath hitched. His voice came out rough, almost hoarse, as he asked Yvonne, “Really?”

There was a note of restraint in his tone—magnetic, but laced with a raw hunger.

Yvonne nodded, her eyes clear and innocent. “Yeah. I took a shower after it started, so…” She reached out with one slender finger and poked his shoulder, her gaze playful.

“Nope, not allowed,” she said, blinking at him with feigned innocence.

Marico shut his eyes, forcing himself to cool down. The tension in the room was thick enough to taste.

Yvonne held her breath, afraid to disturb him. She could see how hard he was trying to restrain himself, and for some reason, that made the whole situation both amusing and a little pitiful.

“I’m going to bed. You—”

His large hand drifted absentmindedly along her lower back, sending shivers up her spine.

Yvonne bit her lip, a tiny whimper escaping. Her feet curled up under her, nerves making her wriggle.

“Stop touching me. I’m ticklish,” she protested, trying to squirm out of his grasp.

The wall of windows made her feel exposed, and she was suddenly very self-conscious.

Marico knew how sensitive she was, but he was burning up inside, and she—this little woman who looked so sweet and innocent—had a mischievous glint in her eyes, clearly enjoying his torment.

She wriggled like a little rabbit in his arms, but Marico wasn’t in any rush.

“When you’re in my arms, it’s hard to kiss you like that. This is better,” he murmured, shifting so he could lean over her, bracing one arm above her head.

Next to his towering frame, Yvonne looked even more delicate.

She grinned up at him, her smile open and bright. But as he leaned closer, his smoldering dark eyes fixed on her, the playful confidence faded, replaced by a flutter of nerves.

She swallowed hard, her small hands clenching unconsciously.

Marico wasn’t holding back this time.
