Oops I Banged the CEO novel Chapter 92

“Yvonne, I swear, it feels like Linda and that trust-fund princess are up to something. It’s like they’re targeting you,” Grace muttered under her breath.

“What? No way. Why would they be after me? Do I even look like her?” Yvonne frowned, genuinely puzzled.

She shot Nydia a look, half-expecting her to weigh in—did she and that socialite really look alike?

“Babe, please. Not everyone is blessed with a face like yours. She might be loaded, but you’re stunning,” Nydia replied, then grinned as she added, “And let’s not forget those curves—not everyone can fill out a dress like you can.”

Grace chimed in with a quick “She’s right,” showing her agreement.

Before Yvonne could respond, Linda stalked over, her expression sharp. “You two need to change into the hotel uniforms. We’re short-staffed, so you’ll be working overtime tonight. Yvonne, you and Nydia are in charge of clearing all the trash during the banquet. Make sure the buffet area and the hall are spotless at all times.”

Her tone was curt and completely unreasonable, leaving no room for discussion.

Yvonne arched a brow. “Doesn’t the hotel have janitors for this?”

“The cleaning staff are all older, not exactly a good look. God forbid any of the trust-fund brats get offended—then it’s Mr. Hamilton’s reputation on the line,” Linda snapped, looking down her nose at them like she was queen of the castle.

She seemed to relish stomping all over Yvonne’s dignity.

“Still, shouldn’t this be the hotel’s responsibility? We’re just office staff here to help out—we don’t know the cleaning procedures,” Yvonne protested.

“Ms. White said you’ll get triple your pay for tonight. You should be grateful,” Linda sneered.

Yvonne stood up, her irritation showing. “Sorry, I don’t think I’m the right person for this.”
