Oops I Banged the CEO novel Chapter 93

Xenia was annoyed at first, but Yvonne’s sweet talk—and the way she’d flattered her in front of everyone—made it impossible for Xenia to keep fussing without looking petty.

After all, so many people were watching.

“Didn’t expect you to be such a crafty one,” Xenia said, her lips curled in a smile but her eyes cold with disdain. She found Yvonne’s act cheap and beneath her.

Yvonne quickly pulled out her phone, nudging Nydia to do the same.

She didn’t stall or hesitate for a second.

If she couldn’t get out of picking up trash, she sure wasn’t going to do it for free. She was going to make the best of it.

Xenia had meant to embarrass Yvonne, but instead found herself outmaneuvered by Yvonne’s feigned cluelessness.

With two bank transfers of $2,100 each received, Yvonne felt elated.

Who would’ve thought picking up trash could net her over two grand in a single day?

“Thank you, miss—you really are as kind as you are beautiful. Honestly, Mr. Hamilton has such good taste.” Yvonne accepted the money and didn’t forget to lay it on thick with the flattery.

If she was destined to play the cleaning lady, at least she’d make sure she wasn’t being used for nothing.

Once Xenia left, Yvonne and Anna shared a look, barely able to contain their excitement.

“When I’m done picking up trash, midnight snacks are on me,” Yvonne said, clenching her tiny fist as she turned to her colleagues behind her.

“We’ll treat everyone together!” Nydia said, so happy she nearly jumped for joy.

Grace just shook her head with a helpless smile. “Good thing Yvonne was quick on her feet. Now, you two come with me to find the hotel manager so you can change into uniforms.”

“It’s fine,” Kent said, waving his hand, eyes openly appreciative.

Yvonne nodded politely, slipped her mask back on, and headed inside.

The birthday party was in full swing—lights glittered, champagne flowed, and the city’s elite mingled.

As soon as Marico arrived, he was swept up by the crowd, surrounded by toasts, greetings, and congratulations.

Xenia, dressed in a pale pink dress, stayed close to Marico—her earlier arrogance vanished, replaced by a demure, gentle charm. She looked every bit the devoted girlfriend, perfectly coordinated with Marico’s suit.

Yvonne, in her uniform, blended into the background. Even so, she took her job seriously, clearing away fruit peels and picking up stray napkins, all while keeping an ear out for the latest gossip about her own husband.

“Hey there, gorgeous—are you new? I’d remember a face like yours.” Kent, having finished his call, strolled over with a glass of sparkling wine in hand, flashing a roguish smile.
