"Huh?"
Allison looked bewildered and paused before asking, "Am I dreaming here?"
Seeing her groggy from sleep, Allison's mother spoke in irritation. "He's already come to our house and you were thinking of keeping it from us!"
"Came to our house? Wait... who are you talking about?" Allison was thoroughly confused.
Her reaction left her mother perplexed. "Isn't the CEO of the Morris Corporation, your boyfriend?"
Allison was suddenly reminded and asked in astonishment, "Wait, Mom, are you talking about Stefan?"
"Yes!" her mother replied.
Allison was confused momentarily before she hurriedly rushed to the living room. There, she indeed found Stefan.
He was in the living room, discussing business matters with her father.
Dressed in a neatly pressed suit with a pair of frameless glasses, his refined facial features gave him an elegant aura that was hard not to fall for.
Mr. Jay had encountered Stefan plenty in business affairs but had never known him to be his daughter's boyfriend. To say he was pleased would be an understatement.
She asked in surprise, "Stefan! What are you doing here?"
Seeing Allison speak in such a manner to Stefan, her father's face darkened, "You're being rude. We have a guest and that's not how you speak to him!"
Gobsmacked by her father's scolding, she stuttered, "Dad... I..."
At this point, her mother, who had followed her, spoke with a smile, "Mr. Morris, please don't mind her. Alli has always been like this."
Stefan looked at Allison who was wearing a face of frustration and bewilderment, pursed his lips slightly, mocking with a hint of ridicule, "I know."
Allison's father laughed, "We have spoiled this kid. Her heart is good though. We used to think that she would never marry. We didn't expect you, Mr. Morris, would fancy her."
"Dad!" Allison stomped her foot in anger, "He is not my boyfriend, this is a misunderstanding!"
She quickly turned to Stefan, "Mr. Morris, I thought we had made it clear that day. No matter what, could you please leave for now, otherwise I can't explain it to my parents."
Before Stefan could speak, her father sternly said, "You are not allowed to speak to Mr. Morris this way!"
"Dad!" Allison never expected that her father, who has always pampered her, would scold her one after the other for Stefan. She was so angry that she was about to faint and turned her eyes for help.
Her mother said with a smile, "Mr. Morris is a good man. You, don't be so impatient because of your shyness."
"I..."
Allison originally thought her parents would listen to her, but they were directly chatting with Stefan as if they wished to marry her off to him.
She was so angry that she quickly grabbed Stefan's hand and pulled him back into the room, and the door was slammed shut.
When she turned around, she saw Stefan's long eyebrows slightly raised, looking at her indifferently.
Suppressing the rising anger, she forced herself to say calmly, "Don't tell me, Ariana asked you to come here!"
If that's the case, she will beat up that darn girl!
The fury and frustration of Allison were within Stefan's expectations, so he responded very calmly, "No, I came here of my own accord."
"You?"
Allison looked at him in disbelief. "Mr. Morris, this is only our second encounter. Don't tell me it's love at first sight. I am not a naive girl who believes in love.”
Moreover, their last meeting was far from pleasant. Instead, she had intentionally overeaten and drunk to leave a bad impression on Stefan.
