Lambert didn't say anything, just curled his lips in an amused smirk.

Ariana didn't want anyone to discover that she had left the house, so she deliberately took a cab to the Night Bar.

Inside the bar, filled with flashing colorful lights, the crowd swayed with the chaotic music, fostering an atmosphere of indulgence.

Ariana, who typically preferred a quiet lifestyle, expressed slight discomfort. To her, it was a severe waste of life to stay awake during the night.

The bar manager noticed her, and led her to Lambert's private room.

As soon as she stepped into the room, all eyes in the place fell on her. There were curious glances, some disdainfull ones, and some even starkly bare-eyed stares.

Despite wearing fairly conservative clothes, under their scrutiny, Ariana felt as though she'd been thoroughly seen through.

Someone whistled, "Wow, she's hot!"

She ignored their discourtesy, turning her attention to Lambert who lounged lazily on the sofa, holding another woman in his arms. The man's beautiful phoenix eyes met Ariana's gaze, carrying a hint mischivous.

Ariana slightly restrained her expression, she couldn't avoid saying that Lambert's private life was a complete mess.

Even though she had met with him a few times, the circumstances revolving around him had already crossed her limit of tolerance.

She walked straight towards Lambert, and calmly asked, "What are you planning this time?"

"Whoa!"

Ariana's audacity to speak so arrogantly to Lambert was a novelty to the people around.

All the women from his past who were trying to win him over, were all gentle and considerate. Her demeanor was definitely beyond their expectation, making them even more excited to join in on the fun.

Lambert had long been used to her blunt tone. He looked at the crowd with a smile, and pretended to be helpless, "Aren't you proposing to marry me? I'm having a bad luck today. Help me win it back and I'll agree to your proposal."
