When the nurse came in, she heard the curtain rustle and walked over, puzzled. “Dr. Mary, are you in there?” She was an omega nurse who had been hired under special circumstances a while back and wasn’t very sensitive to scents, so she didn’t detect the new smell of a strange male alpha in the room.

This made Aubrey let out a small sigh of relief. Before the nurse got any closer, she answered hurriedly.
