Cecilia bowed her head and passed Amelia her namecard. "I'm a huge fan of you and Maeve. I've always dreamed of designing a gown for her."
Amelia scrutinized her.
She had heard of Mosaic Studio before. It was just a small company that Frost Group invested in, nothing special. However, she needed another firm to replace EVL.
Cecilia looked modest and pleasant. She wasn't as aggressive as Annie either. Thus, Amelia figured that it wouldn't hurt to talk to her.
"Let's go to that cafe," Amelia said haughtily, raising her chin.
Cecilia's eyes brightened. She knew that she had made the right call. "Alright, Ms. Brown."
At a seat in the cafe that was next to the window, Amelia listed all her demands again.
Sitting opposite Amelia with a notebook in her hands, Cecilia solemnly noted down everything she heard. She even nodded in agreement from time to time.
After Amelia finished, Cecilia looked up at her with eyes full of admiration. "Great idea, Ms. Brown.
"Ethereal yet stylish, seductive yet modest… A contrasting design like this is sure to stand out at the red carpet event.
"You really know Maeve best. I'd expect nothing less from the excellent agent who's worked with her for ten years."
Her flattery pleased Amelia greatly. The latter picked up her cup of coffee and took a slow sip. It seemed that her frustration had finally dissipated.
She thought that this was how a professional should act. Thinking about how Annie had treated her, Amelia grew upset at Annie again.
She placed her cup down and sternly said, "You designers can stand to listen to us agents more.
"Annie… that newbie at EVL is too young and arrogant. She even tried to boss me around."
Hearing Annie's name, Cecilia asked with mock surprise, "Ms. Brown, are you talking about Annie Steward?"
