She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 122

Shana froze under the warning in the man’s eyes, rooted to the spot. All she could do was glare furiously at Sabrina.

“What are you staring at me for?” Sabrina shot back, rolling her eyes. “Did I do something to you? You’d better behave, or I’ll give you a black eye.” She drew a finger across her neck in a mock threat.

With that, she turned to leave.

Shana, still fuming, spat, “You little vixen, think you can threaten me? You’re part of the Sutton family too, aren’t you afraid I’ll tell Aunt Margaret?”

She reached out, aiming to grab a fistful of Sabrina’s hair.

Pulling hair—a classic move when girls get into a fight. Simple, brutal, and effective.

But before Shana’s hand got close, Sabrina’s right arm shot up, landing a hard, ringing slap across Shana’s cheek.

Actions always spoke louder than words.

The crack echoed in the air. Shana was stunned, her hand flying to her burning face, her eyes brimming with venomous tears.

“Hector… she… she hit me…!” Shana stammered, finally realizing she was no match for Sabrina. All she could do was turn to the man for help, hoping he’d put Sabrina in her place.

But instead, the man’s lips curled into a wicked grin.

There was no flash of anger at seeing “his” woman slapped. On the contrary—his interest in Sabrina only deepened.

No woman had ever dared stand up to him like this before. It was… exhilarating. Refreshing.

Seeing the man’s reaction, Shana’s hatred for Sabrina flared even brighter. Men were all the same—always bewitched by a prettier face, their loyalty vanishing the moment someone more attractive walked by.

That witch, she thought viciously. Nothing but trouble.

For years, Veridia had been trying to dismantle the Glenwood Clan, but after a century of effort, this small territory remained firmly out of reach. Backed by powerful forces, the complex web of alliances and rivalries kept Glenwood fiercely independent.

The Watson family was the leading noble house in Glenwood, and as Kaden Watson’s youngest son, Hector’s status was second to none. On top of that, his mother’s side of the family was nearly as influential, making his position in Glenwood practically untouchable.

Long ago, Glenwood had been part of Veridia’s lands. But a century ago, a powerful family rose up, broke free from Veridia’s grasp, and seized control. Against the odds, they succeeded.

Now, the Glenwood Clan stood as Veridia’s greatest rival, with the Watsons at the helm. The region had become an autonomous territory, recognized by all the other powers.

Anyone from Veridia who wanted to set foot in Glenwood needed to jump through endless bureaucratic hoops.

In Glenwood, Hector was the crown prince—untouchable and unbothered by Veridia’s concerns.

And as far as he was concerned, the girl standing in front of him was the most beautiful woman he’d ever seen, in Glenwood or anywhere else.
