She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 123

He’d set his sights on this beautiful girl—there was no way he’d let her slip through his fingers.

A firm, commanding voice rang out, cutting through the tension.

“I want to get to know you. May I have that honor?”

Shana’s eyes widened in shock.

What Hector really meant was that he wanted Sabrina to be his girlfriend.

Was she just dumped?

She and Hector had only been together a few days, but he was dumping her right in front of everyone—blatantly choosing another girl.

Unbelievable.

Hector was such a jerk.

And it was all Sabrina’s fault, really.

No matter where she went, she couldn’t help flirting with men.

Some women were just born that way.

How could Aunt Sarah have raised a girl like this?

Sabrina, meanwhile, looked thoughtful.

If she remembered correctly, the Harper and Watson families had already started working together.

She quickly hid the sharp glint in her eyes, blinked her bright gaze, and feigned surprise. “So it really is you, Hector. But honestly, for the heir of the Watson family to fall for a girl like that—you really don’t have much taste.”

As she said “a girl like that,” her gaze landed squarely on Shana.

Shana felt the sting of those words.

Was she being told she wasn’t good enough for Hector?

And to insult her right in front of him, no less.

Furious, Shana jabbed her finger at Sabrina’s nose.

“What the hell are you talking about?”

Sabrina didn’t even bother looking at her. “Are you deaf? Or do you just not like what you’re hearing?”

Hector, hearing Sabrina’s words, felt a rush of delight.

He’d had plenty of women swooning over him before, but to be dismissed—so boldly—by such a beautiful woman? It was intoxicating.

She was saying he deserved better—someone far above Shana.

Stunned, Shana clapped her hand to her cheek, her eyes blazing with disbelief.

Hadn’t she already been slapped once?

Why was Sabrina hitting her again?

“You hit me?”

Sabrina’s tone was icy. “Who do you think you are? I don’t care who’s backing you—if you cross me, you pay the price.”

She glanced at the approaching group, then leaned in, taunting Shana further.

“Or is your precious backer just a coward, hiding in the shadows and too scared to defend you?”

Furious, Shana looked to Hector for help, but he just stood there, uninterested. And she didn’t dare strike back at Sabrina.

This woman was crazy—she’d even gotten into fights with boys back in Petersburg. Shana knew she wasn’t a match for her.

Still, she had to put on a show of bravado.

“I’m your cousin. Aren’t you afraid I’ll tell Aunt Sarah and Uncle Robert? They’ll punish you for this!”

Sabrina let out a cold laugh. “Please. Do you really think they scare me? They’re nothing to me.”

Shana’s worldview shattered. She stared at Sabrina, completely stunned.
