She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 249

Wallace ran his own company, with business ventures overseas; money was never a problem for him.

He hadn’t relied on the Sutton family name—he’d carved out his own path, building everything from scratch.

That’s why Desmond, his older brother, never worried about him. He trusted Wallace completely and knew he’d never covet Sutton Group for himself.

Octavia, their mother, also felt at ease with her son. He was steady, responsible, and always showed her respect.

“Take it, Sabrina. Consider this a gift for our first meeting. Make sure you wear it,” Wallace insisted, pressing the box into her hands.

Sabrina’s feelings toward her uncle were neutral—neither fond nor unfavorable.

Wallace always carried himself with a gentle politeness, but anyone who could run such a massive operation at home and abroad was certainly no simple character.

First impressions didn’t reveal a person’s true nature.

So Sabrina kept a careful distance.

A gift this expensive?

Completely inappropriate.

And most importantly, she didn’t accept presents from people she didn’t fully trust.

It was too risky.

Until she truly understood Wallace, she had no intention of letting her guard down around him.

After all, he was a Sutton.

The only exception was her grandmother.

“Uncle, this is far too generous. I can’t accept it. If Celine and Hester find out, they’ll say you’re playing favorites.”

Wallace frowned, surprised by his niece’s stubbornness.

“All right, all right. I’ll just hold onto it for now. Next year, I’ll give it to you for your birthday.”

He was just putting the necklace away when Hester walked in.

Her eyes immediately caught sight of the black credit card on the table.

They lit up.

She rushed over and snatched up the card.

“Grandma, what are you doing with this card today?”

She shot a quick glance at Sabrina, who was sitting at the table, and suddenly felt uneasy.

If her calculations were right, that property was now under Sabrina’s name.

Unlike Hester and Celine, who squabbled endlessly over trivial matters.

Octavia saw a bit of her younger self in Sabrina.

“All right, enough. If you haven’t eaten, sit down and have something. This card is for Sabrina, but she turned it down, so I’ll keep it for now,” the old woman declared, making her favoritism clear as day.

She was too old to care about anyone’s opinion. She had no intention of hiding her preferences.

Hester was livid.

She’d asked for that card so many times, but the old woman had never even let her lay eyes on it.

And now she was offering it to Sabrina?

Hadn’t she already given her a share of the family business?

Why did Sabrina get everything, even the black card?

It was beyond unfair.

“Grandma, this is so unfair! I’m your granddaughter too, but you never give me anything. All you ever think about is Sabrina!”
