After Aaron agreed, he turned and called the stronghold, giving clear instructions. “Jordan Smith is coming. Let him in right away. Don’t try to stop him, and there’s no need to cover up what’s going on with Sandra Taylor.”
The whole point was to let them see each other.
“Got it,” his subordinate replied, heading off to make the arrangements.
Meanwhile, Jordan left the estate, heading straight to the address Aaron had given him. Someone was already waiting when he got there.
“Mr. Smith? This way, please.”
One of the men led Jordan down into the basement. Jordan guessed this was Aaron’s plan, but he didn’t say a word. He just followed, silent and tense.
As the door opened, Nathan Gates was hit by a horrible stench. He held his breath, and then the sounds hit him—moans and groans, raw and obscene.
Nathan’s face changed. He looked toward the noise and froze. Inside a sturdy cage on the floor, Sandra Taylor was naked, tangled up with eight or nine greasy, sleazy men. The scene was filthy. They were so caught up in what they were doing, they didn’t even notice anyone had come in.
One man was dragged away, and Sandra reached for him, desperate. “Don’t go… don’t go…”
She looked dazed, hungry, almost wild with need.
Nathan was so stunned he didn’t even know what to say. He just looked away, unable to watch any longer.
At that moment, Jordan’s mind was spinning. Shock, helplessness, fury—everything hit him at once. He’d known Sandra since they were kids. After everything, even though she’d chosen this path, even though they’d gone their separate ways, seeing her like this felt brutally cruel.
He just couldn’t believe this was her choice. No matter how far she’d fallen, Sandra had always been proud. She would never let herself sink this low. This had to be Dennis Williams trying to humiliate him.
His anger boiled over, especially after he’d waited all night but never got to see Camila. He glared at the man who’d brought them in. “Let her go,” he ordered.
The man didn’t even flinch. “She tried to set Camila up. Everything happening now—this is just her own plan coming back to bite her.”
He tossed Jordan a monitor. “Maybe you should watch this before you say anything else.”
