With the plan locked in, Aaron pulled RedFox and Blackdog aside and told them to get Lavinia Roberts and Sandra Taylor on board.
RedFox wasted no time. He headed straight to the basement cells and ordered Lavinia and Sandra to play along.
“Since we don’t know where he is, we need to flush him out,” RedFox said, his voice low and cold. “If he doesn’t reach out to you, you reach out to him. I don’t have to spell out what to say, do I?”
Both Lavinia and Sandra looked terrified. They’d already been through so much, and the threat in RedFox’s eyes was enough. They knew better than to argue. Disobedience wasn’t just risky—it was a death sentence. Or worse.
Lavinia rushed to speak first. “I know what to do. I’ll call him.”
RedFox nodded approvingly and signaled to his guy, who handed Lavinia her phone. She snatched it up and immediately called Patton.
On the other end, Patton sounded anxious. “Where are you? Nobody’s found you, right?”
Lavinia let out a little laugh, sounding way too pleased with herself. “You told me to hide, so I found a place no one would ever think of. Don’t bother asking where. I’ll be back soon anyway. Oh, and Sandra already reached out to me. Camila Davis is in her hands now, and she’s getting exactly what she deserves. You have no idea—Sandra’s gone totally off the rails. She even got a bunch of guys to mess with Camila. It’s harsh, but honestly, it feels so good knowing she’s getting payback. If you can’t get hold of Sandra, don’t worry. She’s just enjoying herself a little too much. If I wasn’t worried about blowing my cover, I’d go join in and give that bitch a taste of her own medicine.”
