Swapping a Broken Heart for a New Start novel Chapter 1143

His mind was already fuzzy from the alcohol, and Sarah’s challenge just poured gasoline on the fire. Something deep inside him sparked to life. He had to prove himself to her. There was no way he was backing down.

Sarah saw the look in his eyes and gave him a playful grin. “Alright. Let’s see what you can do.”

No sooner had she finished saying it than the world seemed to flip upside down. Suddenly, she was lying beneath him, her protest caught in her throat as he pressed his lips to hers, stealing away any chance to argue.

Never one to surrender, Sarah pushed back, matching him move for move. For a while, it almost felt like a game, both of them stubbornly refusing to let the other win. But as the moments stretched on, their playful competition faded, replaced by something urgent and consuming. The air between them grew heated, their inexperience tangling them up in awkward moments and clumsy touches, but neither seemed to care.

Sometimes, it hurt a little. Sarah gasped, “Larry, careful… go easy.”

Larry’s voice was deep, a little rough, and sent shivers down her spine. “You wanted me to be rough, remember?”

Sarah’s cheeks were flushed, her voice small but teasing. “But… you’ve been at this forever…”

He let out a low laugh. “Only an hour? That’s all you think I have in me? Do you still doubt me?”

Instead of answering, Sarah retaliated with a sharp nip on his shoulder, making him hiss in pain. “Sarah, are you secretly a dog or something? You really like to bite.”

She shot him a look, her eyes sparkling with mischief. “You started it. You bit me first. Look, it’s still red…”

She pointed to a rosy mark blooming on her chest, like a little flower against her pale skin. Larry just stared for a second, his breath coming faster.

He didn’t bother replying. He kissed her again, hungrily, as if he couldn’t get enough, pulling her back into the heat with him.
