Having met Dennis Williams before, the old caretaker managed to calm himself down slightly. "Last night," he began, his voice trembling, "I did call Mr. Adams. I was on my patrol through the cemetery when I discovered that his mother's grave had been desecrated. The headstone was knocked over, and the urn with her ashes was gone. I had to call him immediately..." Upon hearing this, Dennis's expression turned glacial. Aaron's face contorted in fury, and he couldn't stop himself from cursing, "Damn it, what kind of despicable scumbags would do something like this? They won't even leave the dead in peace!" Seeing his visceral reaction, the caretaker nodded in agreement. "Exactly! I've been watching over this cemetery for decades, and I've never seen anything so vile. What kind of grudge must they hold? To desecrate a grave after someone's already passed... don't they fear divine retribution?" Aaron was seething, imagining the anguish Larry must have felt upon hearing the news. Dennis was clearly enraged as well but maintained his composure. "After he arrived, where did he go? When did you see him last?" he asked the caretaker. The old man thought for a moment. "Mr. Adams rushed up the hill. He was moving so fast... I tried to follow, but these old legs couldn't keep up. By the time I reached the grave, he was gone. I searched around but couldn't find him. I figured he must have left down the other side of the hill. I thought maybe he had urgent business and just hadn't given me instructions on how to handle the situation. But I've waited all day today, and he never came back." Dennis narrowed his eyes and gave Aaron a meaningful look. Aaron immediately understood and slipped away. Dennis continued questioning the caretaker for a while longer. Convinced the old man knew nothing more, he prepared to leave. As they were walking away, the caretaker suddenly ran after them. "Sir, what should be done about this? Nothing like this has ever happened at our cemetery before. Should we call the police? I asked Mr. Adams last night, but he just said it wasn't necessary and that he knew where the ashes were. But now he's missing... I hope nothing terrible has happened to him..." "It's alright," Dennis said calmly. "I will handle this. We'll bring the ashes back for a proper reburial, and we will find him. Please, keep my visit here tonight a secret." "Of course, I'll do as you say. You can trust me, I won't breathe a word of this. I didn't see anyone tonight." The old caretaker trusted Dennis. He remembered seeing him visit with Larry before to pay respects to his mother. The two young men were so striking that they had left a deep impression. He could tell Larry was in some kind of trouble, so he was more than willing to play dumb to avoid getting involved with the powerful families buried there. "Thank you," Dennis said before returning to the car. Moments later, Aaron returned with his men, his tone grim. "Mr. Williams, I had my team survey the area around the grave. We found some suspicious traces..." Dennis looked up at him. "What did you find?"
