A frigid anger burned in Larry’s chest, and his expression grew even colder.
He cut his grandfather off. “And what does that have to do with me? You can’t seriously believe I care about any of this, do you? If I did, I would never have walked away so completely all those years ago!”
His words struck Mr. Adams like a physical blow, leaving him unable to form a reply.
Finally, he asked, “Then what is it you want tonight?”
“Hahaha…”
Larry suddenly burst into laughter, a wild, unhinged sound that made the guilty parties in the room flinch. A glint of moisture shone in his eyes.
When the laughter subsided, his voice rang out, clear and chilling. “What I want… is for the Adams family to pay for what they’ve done. In blood.”
The words landed with the force of a hammer blow, causing each of them to tremble.

Then, while she was pregnant, he cheated on her with Kimberly Howard, flaunting his affair and humiliating her repeatedly. This woman,” he said, gesturing at Kimberly, “lured my mother out and staged a scene, pretending to fall into the water to frame her for pushing her in. But when my mother reached out to save her, she deliberately pulled her under, drowning her.
“Afterward, to protect this whore, Joseph Adams covered up her crime. He helped her spread rumors, painting my mother as the mistress who destroyed their love, even slandering her as a murderer! And the entire Adams family is complicit. All of you who knew the truth stood by and did nothing. Even you…”
