An hour later, when the water’s surface was once again calm, Camila was utterly spent, her body limp and pliant. She could only cling to him to keep from sliding into the water.
A fully satiated Dennis finally emerged from the hot spring. He wrapped them both in plush bathrobes and carried her back to the main villa. Camila had assumed their night would end there, but she had severely underestimated how much her rare initiative had ignited his passion. Back in their room, the man who had been drowsy just moments ago was now wide awake, and her ‘ordeal’ was only just beginning…
That night, the sound of their mingled breaths didn’t cease until the early hours of the morning. Camila’s sanity was frayed, her voice a broken sob as she protested, “Weren’t you tired? Didn’t you need to sleep?”
“Mm, we’ll sleep as soon as we’re finished,” Dennis cooed, silencing her with another kiss and pulling her into the next wave of passion.
It was much later than expected when they finally finished. By then, Camila’s voice was a hoarse whisper. “Dennis Williams… you’re a liar!”
“I was very pleased with your performance tonight, Camila,” he murmured seductively. “Next time, you can try being assertive in a different way, hmm?”
“No way…” she gasped, mortified.
He didn’t like that answer. Exerting his control, he teased her mercilessly. “I don’t like hearing you say no. I want to hear you say yes.”
Camila’s toes curled in embarrassment. “Dennis Williams… shut up…”
When it was all truly over, she had lost consciousness, falling into a deep slumber. Dennis gazed at her sleeping face, his expression melting into pure tenderness. After carrying her to the bathroom to clean up, he laid her gently back in bed. His own energy finally depleted, he pulled her soft body close and slept until dawn.
...
The next morning, Camila awoke to a familiar, deep ache in her muscles, as if her bones had been taken apart and reassembled. For once, Dennis hadn't risen early; he was still holding her possessively. She turned her head and was met with the sight of his stunningly handsome face. He was gorgeous, but he was also a devil when it came to teasing her. Remembering how he had bent her into various positions the night before made her want to bite him.
Before she could, he stirred, his eyes fluttering open. A gentle smile touched his lips. “Good morning, Camila.” He leaned in and placed a soft kiss on her forehead. Just like that, her anger evaporated. She was, after all, a sucker for him.
After cuddling for a while, they finally got up for breakfast. Camila couldn’t understand how Dennis could look so refreshed and energetic. He had done most of the work and gone to sleep much later than she had, yet he was perfectly fine. It was completely illogical.
As she pondered this, a news alert popped up on her phone. It was about the Adams family. Mr. Adams, Mrs. Adams, and their son Brian had all been arrested at the birthday banquet. The charges included kidnapping, murder, and conspiracy to cover up a years-old homicide.
Camila nodded in satisfaction as she read. The topic was already trending, and the comments were exploding.
“OMG, I woke up and thought this was fake news! Is this for real???”
“Is this what rich families do now? They’re bored with scandals and have moved on to actual crimes???”
