Alfreds POV

After stabbing him in the arm with the silver blade, he howled again. This time he acted like he was in actual pain. He was shaking and coughing up blood.

Are you going to talk now?”

‘No.‘

He almost whispered. He was getting weak because he was losing blood. I had also dipped the blades in wolf’s bane. That prevented us from healing. I nodded to Chris, and he started an IV. Chris also had medical training. The fluids were to replace the blood he was losing. It would also help flush out the wolf bane so he could start to heal, so I could torture him all over again since he was not answering my questions. I wanted to spend time with Vanessa. We did not leave on a good note this morning. We fought over Stacey. Vanessa thought that I was too harsh on her. I thought I was too lenient. If she had been a man, I would have seriously hit her in the mouth when she left her post. However, she is a girl and my sister. On top of that, she has both Lunas on her side. I’m sure my mother is going to say something to me.

She could shake up my whole world, and all she has to do is yell at me. I then went and sat down at the table. I thought about getting plates and things out of the cabinet, but I waited until she got out of the shower. She got out of the shower, and we sat down to eat. I asked her how her day was, and she jumped. I knew she was thinking about this afternoon. When she tried to apologize for what she had said earlier, I cut her off. We finished dinner, and she asked if we would soak in the hot tub. I was more than happy to agree to it. We changed into our suits and walked to the hot tub. She asked about Junior. The nanny had already moved into her room and was eagerly waiting for the baby’s arrival. I told her we would see him in the morning.
