The Alpha's Unwanted Omega Mate novel Chapter 7

Daisy

So my twin sister is the Luna of the pack now. If we were close, I would be overjoyed for her. If he wasn't my mate... if he didn't reject me for her... if she didn't hate my guts... if my life wasn't getting worse... I'd be so happy for her.

Instead, I'm getting bullied so much more because I'm just a disgrace. I'm also dealing with the worst feelings and pains ever.

That night he left me after threatening me, I felt everything that was going on. The pain I felt was terrible and I didn't know what it was. Naomi explained to me later that it was because Tristian was mating with another.

'Even if the rejection broke the bond, I didn't reject Silas and he didn't reject me so part of it is still there.' Naomi explained. 'It will fade with time but for now, it will hurt. I'm so sorry, Daisy.'

Her presence seems weaker now but I'm happy I didn't lose my wolf because of the rejection. She told me not to try and shift yet because it wasn't time. When will it be time then?

Back to Dahlia: she is a decent leader and everyone loves her. I will give her that. However, no one has any respect for us Omegas. We do a lot for the pack but no one ever sees it. They'd all live in filth if it wasn't for us. They'd all probably starve too even if cooking the kills isn't always necessary.

"Hey, bitch!" I hear Dahlia call out. I'm cleaning the kitchen right now so I look up from the sink. "There you are..." she walks up to me, her mate from Tristian on display. It's like she's showing it off on purpose, but I know he would never tell her that we were mates.

"Yes, Luna?" I set the plate I was washing down and turn to face her. The next moment I'm dazed and on the floor. The side of my face aches and feels wet. I touch it carefully and see my fingers dyed red. What just happened?

Dahlia has her hand up and even she looks stunned. She must have slapped me and since I'm on the floor it was a hard one. Maybe I hit my head? I don't know but my ears are ringing.

"... Oh please. I didn't hit you that hard." Dahlia rolls her eyes. "How can someone be that weak? Stop acting and stand up!" She stomps her foot and I'm reminded of a four-year-old Dahlia.
