Chapter 80
Chapter 80
Tristian
My day starts by waking up in the morning and taking a shower. All I can think about is making my daughter happy. The joy in her bright blue eyes malls my heart. As I wash my hair, I think about what to have the Omegas make for breakfast. Why should my lovely mate have to cook when it’s their job in the first place?
As I make my way over to Gracie’s room, I hear one of our hired helpers speaking to her, a man named Magnus. “Don’t worry, little one. You did nothing wrong, and you have nothing to worry about,” he
axes gently. As I peek in, I watch as Magnus holds her close and rubs her back.
Gracie sniffles, which makes my heart ache. Who made my precious daughter cry? I clench my fists, vowing to make them pay. “W–why did big brother bleed? Why is he hurt? T–that’s not what Gracie wanted!” She cries and hides her face in his chest.
Big brother? Did she have one? As I think, flashes of a boy come to mind.
right… Keith. The rebellious troublemaker who ran away and rejected his
own pack. I grit my teeth. We didn’t find him, so who knows if he’s dead or alive? All I know is that he’s just another pathetic liar.
“You didn’t make anyone hurt him that way,” Magnus assures her. “Why don’t we go downstairs and get ready to head to the cafeteria? I’m sure the Omegas are whipping up your favorite meals.” He ruffles her hair and stands up with Gracie in his arms.
The warmth in his red eyes always bothers me, and I can’t explain why. The two of them look like a family too, but I’m her father. I clear my throat to get their attention. “I’ll take Gracie down.” I step forward and take her from the hired help. “Thank you for calming her down.”
Magnus tilts his head and dips it. “Of course. I was trying to help a crying child feel better.” The awkwardness between us makes me uncomfortable. The arrogance on his face only makes things worse, but I can’t just go off on him. Dahlia is the one who hired him, so he’s her responsibility.
“Daddy!” I blink and look down at Gracie. “Hug Gracie.” She puffs out her cheeks and hugs me tightly. Warmth runs through me, and I hug her back. What was I thinking about again? Everything just fades away when I’m with my daughter. “Let’s go eat!” She orders, pointing her finger out.
I chuckle and nod. “Of course, my sweet pup.” I say, leaving Magnus behind as I walk downstairs. “I bet you want some yummy pancakes and strawberry slices, huh?”
Gracie beams happily, melting my heart even more. How can someone be so precious and sweet? “Yeah! Gracie wants that!” I chuckle and walk outside
toward the cafeteria.
I’m about to send a message to the Omegas with her meal order when I suddenly get one from Grayson via the pack link. ‘Everyone come out now! The Alpha King is being escorted to camp, followed by the Crimson Moon leaders!‘
I tense, which makes Gracie look up at me in confusion. Everyone around me freezes as well and looks at me with alarmed expressions on their faces. Why is King Xander coming unannounced? And why are the Crimson Moon leaders coming with him?
“Tristian!” I look up and see Dahlia rushing over to me. Her face is pale, and her eyes are darting around as if she’s guilty of something. “Do you know anything about this?” She takes Gracie away from me, making me feel empty.
“N–No. I haven’t gotten any word about this. This isn’t like the Alpha King to just visit out of the blue,” I say, watching as she starts to bite one of her nails. Why does she look so nervous? Before I can ask, I hear Grayson let out a howl. He must be the one escorting them.
As they get closer, I can feel the power and energy coming from Xander already. We all hold our breaths as they walk into camp. Xander’s eyes are black and cold, which makes my heart sink. We’re in trouble, but I have no idea why.
azing scent. My heart pounds in my chest as my eyes move over to the Crimson Moon pack leaders. I recognize Aiden Rivers right away, but that’s not who catches my eye as a pair of cold purple eyes meet mine.
“Greetings, my Alpha King,” Dahlia says, smiling cheerfully. “What can we do for you?” While she speaks, I’m distracted by a familiar an.
Long, silvery–white hair, pale white skin, and bright purple eyes… this woman is breathtaking… and it’s someone I know… someone I broke beyond repair. “… Daisy…” I choke out under my breath as my mind clears completely. “Daisy…” My hands tremble.
“I believe Aiden and Daisy can answer that for me,” Xander replies in a cold tone. Hearing another male say her name makes me growl lowly. She’s mine.., no one should say her name but me! My mate! “After all, your crimes are against their pup.”

Pup? I grit my teeth while Dahlia looks at me and scowls. “Daddy?” I feel a small hand touch me, and my skin crawls. I jerk away and look at the two. “0. daddy!” Both look so much alike, but their eyes… the little girl has eyes the color of blood. My mind has never been clearer.
“We’re here because of what you’ve done to my pup.” That sweet voice pulls my attention back to Daisy. “Not only did your Luna kidnap my pup, but you all had a hand in abusing him too.” Chills run down my spine. She’s never sounded so cold before.
“Your pup?!” Dahlia’s shrill voice makes me wince. “Keith was always mine! You stole him from be so cruel to me, huh?!” Her lips curl into a snarl. Was she always this repulsive looking?
me and replaced him with your dead pup! How could you
“That’s a lie,” Aiden replies in a cool and calm voice. “I was there by her side when she gave birth to our son. His name is Skylar, not Keith. From what I heard, you gave birth to a little girl and not a little boy.” Dahlia lets out a low growl next to me. “You may have been in agony, but that doesn’t justify kidnapping Skylar.”
