Rebecca's eyes widened.
Dylan knew her identity?
"You heard what I said just now?" Rebecca swallowed nervously.
"Yes," Dylan said in a low voice.
His tone was icy, as if each word carried a chill.
A fire seemed to be burning in his deep eyes.
Why did she get the feeling he was angry?
She was about to say something when Dylan suddenly grabbed her wrist and pulled her out of the venue.
Rebecca looked at where his hand gripped her, her eyes filled with shock and surprise. As curious glances were thrown their way, she quickly lowered her head. "Dylan, let go of me. I'm still your secretary right now..."
But Dylan acted as if he hadn't heard her, not slowing his pace as he dragged her straight outside.
......
Katherine watched them from a distance. Though she couldn't hear their conversation, she saw Dylan drag Rebecca out, and her eyes turned red with jealousy.
First Samuel, now Dylan. Why were all the best men so completely captivated by her?
Katherine bit her lip in jealousy, her hands clenching into fists.
But she didn't have time to worry about Rebecca now. She saw Alan heading to a secluded corner and immediately followed.
When she got closer, she found Alan standing alone in the corner, looking heartbroken.
He was facing the wall, one hand braced against it, his head bowed. Anyone who saw his pained and reluctant expression would have to admit how deeply he felt for Rebecca.
Katherine's fingers trembled with rage.
