THE DIVORCE GAMBIT From Dumped Wife to CEO's Forever novel Chapter 1001

"Alright then."

The group watched as Caitlin walked away.

Stuart's eyes were filled with worry as he watched his precious daughter's retreating figure. "This orientation boot camp is so demanding. I don't know if Freya can handle it."

Given that the Gonzales family had funded multiple buildings at Kingsward, it would have taken nothing more than a nod from Stuart to have Caitlin withdrawn from the program.

But Caitlin insisted she couldn't be given special treatment and set a bad example. She had adamantly stopped him from intervening.

What could Stuart possibly do? The man was utterly devoted to his daughter. In the end, he always gave in.

Carey nodded in agreement. "Exactly. Freya's already so thin. A strong gust of wind could blow her away. I just hope she can get through it!"

Fortune and Keira also wore expressions of deep concern.

After settling into her dorm and changing, Caitlin headed to the training grounds with Gertrude and Elsa.

Today, nearly every freshman was gathered on the field. The entire area was a sea of students in camouflage fatigues, a truly impressive sight.

Soon, the three of them found their platoon.

Their drill instructor hadn't arrived yet.

Though connected online since registration, the class met many faces for the first time, and Caitlin's arrival instantly commanded attention.

"Who's that girl? She's gorgeous!"

"Damn! How can she make even those drab fatigues look so good?"

"I didn't know we had such a beautiful girl in our major!"

"Campus queen! She has to be the campus queen!"

"…"

Listening to the murmurs, Charis Gonzales frowned slightly.

Charis was attractive herself and had even applied a meticulous "no-makeup" makeup look today. Just moments ago, she had been the center of attention, the one everyone was talking about.

But now?

Somehow, it had become all about Caitlin.

Just then, a tall figure in a military uniform strode over from the side, his face stern. "Alright, quiet down!" he barked.

The crowd immediately fell silent.

Adler's face was taut as he scanned the group. "My name is Adler, and I am your drill instructor. I don't care who you are, where you're from, or which rich family you belong to. During this boot camp, you will follow orders. Understood?"

Next, Adler explained the rules. His voice was loud, his stature imposing, and his presence commanding. Nearly everyone was intimidated into silence, not daring to whisper a single word.

Charis glanced at Caitlin.

"Hmph. Just you wait. You're about to get some special attention from my uncle."

Adler held up the freshman roster. "Alright, I'm calling roll. When I call your name, take one step forward and answer 'Here!'"

"Yuki."
