THE DIVORCE GAMBIT From Dumped Wife to CEO's Forever novel Chapter 943

Sophie hadn't paid much attention to Caitlin's recent affairs.

All she knew was that her current predicament was all that little bitch's fault. If Caitlin hadn't seduced the head of Apex, stolen The Chandler Group's business plan, and conspired with Victor Winslow to bring them down, she wouldn't have been reduced to sleeping with an old man!

Mayo was old enough to be her father!

Did she find sleeping with a man like that disgusting? Of course.

But what could she do? This was all Caitlin's doing!

After The Chandler Group went bankrupt, Julian, trying to save face, told Sophie that Caitlin had stolen their business plan out of revenge, backstabbing the company and causing its complete collapse.

Sophie had never doubted Julian's words.

In her eyes, Caitlin was nothing more than a classless country girl.

How could a simple girl from the countryside have the ability to revive a failing gaming company overnight?

Therefore, Caitlin must have used some dirty ways.

Now that Fortune had fallen into her hands, she certainly wasn't going to let this opportunity slip by.

This was her chance to get revenge and win Mayo's favor. Maybe if she made him happy enough, he'd finally marry her, and she could secure her position as Mrs. Lowell.

A triumphant expression spread across Sophie's face at the thought.

Mayo nodded. "Alright. In that case, I'll leave this matter to you and Wilfred."

Wilfred looked at Sophie. "Then we'll be counting on you, Miss Barrett."

She wished she could fly to Silverhaven immediately. But she was in The Capital, and the fastest flight would still take three hours. She hastily booked a ticket on the next available flight.

After booking her ticket, she was about to ask Celeste Hayes to check on him, but then she remembered that Celeste was on vacation with her family.

Fortunately, Gordon was currently in Silverhaven on a business trip. She immediately dialed his number.

"Hello, Catie." Gordon answered quickly.

Caitlin got straight to the point. "Gordon, my grandpa's missing. If you're not busy, could you go check my house and the park he often visits?"

"Of course." Gordon stood up from his chair immediately. "Don't worry, Catie. I'll go look for Mr. Kensington right now."

"Okay," Caitlin added. "I'm getting on a plane to come over right away."
