The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 373

Ella glanced at David. “Mr. Harmon, do you believe me now?” Her clear eyes sparkled with a mischievous light, and as Wyatt had his arms wrapped around her, David’s handsome face turned even darker, almost stormy.

Even Wyatt had fallen under her spell. She really knew how to make an impression.

“Ella, I brought you here to shop. Did you see anything you want?” Wyatt asked.

The sales associate quickly stepped forward, holding out a lace dress. “This would look amazing on you,” she said.

Ella nodded. “I’d like to try it on.”

“Go ahead,” Wyatt told her.

Ella took the dress and slipped into the fitting room.

Jessa’s good mood vanished. She tugged on David’s sleeve and whispered, “See? I told you Ella’s not as innocent as she looks. Now she’s hanging all over Wyatt, and it’s obvious he’s totally into her. She’s got him wrapped around her finger.”

David just pressed his lips together and said nothing.

Then Wyatt walked over. “Mr. Harmon, you are Ella’s ex-husband. I’ve got to thank you for taking care of her before. From now on, you don’t have to worry about her. I’ll look after her.”

David met Wyatt’s gaze. Both of them were equally sharp, equally attractive, and the tension between them was impossible to miss. The air practically crackled.

The sales associate called out, “Wow, you look so good in this.”

David and Wyatt turned at the same time. Ella stepped out in the lace dress. It hugged her curves perfectly, the hand-sewn crystals on the bodice catching every bit of light. The skirt fit her like a glove, and with her hair pulled back in a low bun, she looked absolutely breathtaking, like she belonged on a runway.

David couldn’t take his eyes off her.
