The Heir And The Servent Started From A Bet novel Chapter 55

Chapter 55

The moment Alex’s lips crashed against hers, the world outside of this moment ceased to exist.

Mia barely had time to process what was happening before she was feeling-the heat of his body pressing against hers, the roughness of his hands gripping her waist, the desperate way his lips moved against hers like he was drowning and she was the only thing keeping him afloat.

She melted into him.

Her fingers found their way into his hair, gripping tightly as she kissed him back with everything she had. She wasn’t sure who was hungrier, who was more desperate, but it didn’t matter.

Nothing mattered.

Nothing but this.

Alex pulled back for air, his breath ragged, his forehead resting against hers.

Mia’s heart slammed against her ribs as she stared at him, their breaths mixing, their bodies still pressed together.

Then, before she could fully catch her breath, Alex kissed her again.

Harder.

Deeper.

Like he was trying to memorize every inch of her lips, like he was afraid she would disappear if he let go.

A soft moan escaped her, and she felt the way his body tensed, how his grip on her waist tightened just a little more.

God, she was burning.

Her entire body was on fire.

And she didn’t care.

She didn’t care that this was probably a mistake.

Didn’t care that Alex was the worst person she could ever fall for.

Didn’t care that she was definitely falling.

She just wanted more.

More of his hands on her skin.

More of his lips devouring hers.

More of him.

They pulled back again, panting, but the moment their eyes met, the hunger, the need, was still there.

Still burning..

Chapter 55

Still consuming.

Alex let out a low, frustrated groan before capturing her lips again, this time slower, deeper, his hands sliding up her sides, his thumbs tracing small circles that sent shivers through her body.

Mia clung to him, lost in the way he felt, the way he tasted.

She didn’t know how long they stayed like that-kissing, touching, breathing each other in.

But she knew one thing.

She wasn’t ready to let go.

And from the way Alex was holding onto her like she was the only thing keeping him sane-

Neither was he.

The air between them was thick with tension, a heat neither of them could escape. Alex’s breathing was heavy, his hands firm on Mia’s waist as she clung to him, her fingers tangled in his hair.

Mia had no idea how they got here-how she went from standing at his door to being pressed against it, their mouths moving in a feverish, desperate kiss.

Maybe she should have fought harder against this, against him. But right now, she didn’t care.

Alex pulled her closer, his hands exploring, memorizing.

Mia felt like she was floating, her body melting against him, every nerve in her body alive with sensation.

She tugged at his shirt, fingers fumbling with the buttons, eager to feel more of him. Alex pulled back slightly, staring at her, his breathing ragged. His eyes were dark, filled with something she couldn’t quite name—something that made her stomach tighten.

She paused, her fingers hovering over the fabric, waiting for him to say something. But Alex didn’t speak. Instead, he reached for her again, his lips crashing back against hers as if words weren’t enough to explain what he was feeling.

Mia gasped against his mouth as he lifted her with ease, her legs wrapping around his waist instinctively. The movement sent a thrill through her, making her heart race. Alex carried her effortlessly, his grip firm, his body pressed against hers as he moved them through the apartment.

She barely noticed the transition until her back hit the soft mattress. Alex hovered over her, his hands braced on either side of her head, his breath warm against her skin.

There was something raw in the way he looked at her, something vulnerable and intense.

“You have no idea what you do to me,” he murmured, his voice hoarse.
