Andrea looked away and followed Darin inside. They were meeting an elder today, just the two of them in a private room.
Anthony had already called ahead. The restaurant manager took care of Felicia’s bill, so they walked out without having to pay.
Outside, soft snowflakes drifted down from the sky.
“The first snow came earlier this year,” Jeremy said, glancing up.
Felicia reached out, catching a snowflake in her palm. It melted instantly. “Yeah. I bet it’s going to be colder than usual too.”
Ava helped Felicia down the steps and the three of them headed toward the parking lot. Felicia got in the car and waved goodbye to Jeremy.
As Jeremy turned to his car, he caught a glimpse of Andrea standing a little ways behind him. She wore a pink fox fur coat and her long hair fell over her shoulders. Under the streetlight, with snow swirling around her, she looked stunning. It was hard not to stare.
Jeremy watched her for a second, then turned away and kept walking. When he passed, Andrea suddenly called out.
“You cared so much about a pregnant woman. What’s your relationship?”
Jeremy’s voice was cool. “Miss Curtis, maybe you shouldn’t bother thinking about me.”
He walked away, pulled open his car door, and drove off.
Andrea just stood there, watching the direction his car disappeared.
Her phone started to buzz. She glanced at the screen, then turned and headed back inside. “Hey, Darin.”

Update pls...
The story is a drag. How can they write crap like this where the female lead is like a lapdog, and the male lead is a complete trash? They use a child to blackmail the mother into staying. The female lead should not go back to the trashy male lead. I would prefer her to be with Jeremy....
Hey. Thank you for updating this novel here. Request you to update a big bulky lot of chapters please. It is such an interesting novel that 10 per day is simply not enough. Thanks again...
