Chapter 601 The Zombie Tide
The scariest one was the kid zombie.
* Finished
Both of its eyes had been gouged out, leaving two dark, hollow sockets. Its once soft and cute face had turned thin and bluish–black, making it look like a ghost.
It was the fastest among them, wearing a pink princess dress. It raised its hands and ran straight toward Theresa and the others, screaming with its mouth wide open.
An arrow with fire shot toward the kid zombic.
That kid zombie was a speed–type mutant zombie. It moved fast and flexibly.
Louisa’s first arrow missed, and so did the next few shots. She grew more nervous by the second, especially since her brother was still missing. Her hands shook badly.
After another missed shot, the kid zombie got within six feet of them.
The kid zombie jumped high and lunged at them.
At that moment, a sharpened blade flew toward it and hit it right between the eyes. The impact broke open its skull and shattered its gleamstone.
It came from behind them. Miles had thrown it.
Feeling his gaze on her, Louisa forced herself to calm down. She picked up another fire arrow and started shooting again at the zombies coming from behind.
But more and more zombies kept rushing out.
They poured in like a black wave from the station.
There were tens of thousands of zombies.
There was no room even to move.
As Louisa’s fire arrows lost control under the crowd of zombies, several of them broke through her defense. Miles, who didn’t have any abilities, used blades to help, but even that couldn’t stop the zombies from charging at them.
Right then, a long knife flashed.
One clean swing took down the zombies in front of them.
Louisa and Miles both turned in shock toward Theresa, who was holding the knife.
So she can fight too. And where did that knife even come from?
They had no time to think because the next second, they saw a huge wave of zombies rushing across the road like a tide.

Chapter 601 The Zomble Tide
Both of them felt their scalp tingle.
They had faced zombie attacks before, but this was the worst one they had ever seen.
There were tens of thousands of zombies.
– Finlehed
They swarmed forward, screaming. Louisa shot out a long line of fire, but it looked like a matchstick swallowed by darkness. The flame burned for only a second before being smothered by more zombies.
There was no way they could hold this back.
They were doomed.
Just then, Louisa saw a massive blaze ahead.
Flames swept across the entire street in an instant, swallowing all the zombies.
The fire burned fiercely and carried heat and power that made the ground tremble.
This was fire from a Level 9 fire–based ability user.
It was like a second sun had risen on the ground.
Louisa stared in disbelief at the sea of fire in front of them.
That fire came from Theresa.
She was stunned. She had thought Theresa was just an ordinary person they picked up on the road.
Yesterday, when everyone talked about abilities, Theresa hadn’t said a word. Louisa thought she didn’t have any ability and had even seen her as someone to protect, but her fire–based ability was stronger than anyone else’s.
How is she that strong? No way!
Miles, who was behind them, also stared at Theresa with shock.
He looked at the blazing flames that lit up the whole sky and then at Theresa, who stood at the center of it all, wielding her ability.
Could a human even do that? Who is she?
