Extremely angry and even hurt, Eizlina stepped inside her room, but suddenly she felt her arm getting gripped and her body getting aggressively spun around. Her outraged, watery eyes collided with those nefariously burning silver eyes of his.
“Leave me. I said leave m….”
“What the f*ck you think of yourself?” He shouted at her, making her heart shiver in pain, because no one had ever talked to her in such a tone ever in her life because she had always carried that image of a good and tender person around everyone, she had never given anyone the reason to raise their voice at her, but in this place and this man….he had never talked to her with tenderness.
He didn't even know the meaning of being gentle. He was a monster, and his aggressive behaviour was hurting her so much that it was breaking her very deeply. But she didn't want to accept it in front of him.
She didn't want him to give that importance, even though it could not be denied anymore that he had started holding his relevance in her life…..A cruelly barbaric relevance.
“Who do you f*cking think you are?” Theron clutched her arm more harshly. The way she insulted his mother and him, it was not getting out of his mind, and just not only this, she also disrespected their wedding by refusing to accept it in front of his mother and he couldn't just take it anymore.
Her stubborn and careless behaviour had broken his string of patience completely at this point.
“You were called there to listen to my mother not to disrespect her,” he growled at her, glaring into her glossy eyes which watered more at his words.
“I….”
“Not a single word from your mouth, Eizlina,” he warned her because he was really not in his own rational senses now, and he knew how much his irrationality could hurt her if she would continue to anger him with her words.
Eizlina closed her mouth, seeing how angry he was looking. No, she was not afraid anymore that he was going to hurt her physically, but she had lost her strength to fight with him emotionally. She was feeling too exhausted and drained to even argue with him at this point, because she had started believing he was neither going to listen to her nor he was ever going to understand her.
So there was no point in trying to prove her point to him.
Closing her mouth, she looked away from him. A tear slowly slipped down from her eyes, staining her dried up cheek, which had always looked soft, warm and glowing. Theron exhaled a heavy breath and slowly softened his grip around her arm.
He pulled back his hand, but Eizlina continued to look away from him.
“I am doing everything you have wanted me to do to make you accept this marriage, so now it's your turn to do what I want,” he spoke out, while lowering his voice a bit. He was here to teach her a lesson in his own brutal ways after the mess she created in the hall in front of his mother, but here….just that single drop of her tear and that lifeless look on her face faded those intentions of his completely.
His aggression, which he himself was terrified of, had finally chosen to bow in front of her pain.
“It's just a party. You don't need to do anything special there….just act as every normal couple behaves,” he said to her. His words caused her to clench her palms.
“Normal couple?” She snapped her shimmering gaze in his direction.
