In the evening, Theron came back from his work early to attend the party of Mr. Linwood. He entered the hall, and there he saw his mother talking to someone on the call, but the moment her eyes fell on him, she disconnected the call and passed him a smile.
“You are here? Come, son,” she uttered to him. Theron walked towards her direction.
“I hope your day went well,” she asked, which seemed more like a statement to make sure nothing wrong had happened in their company and everything was going fine.
Theron slowly nodded his head, just like she had been expecting it. Winona smiled at her son.
“Okay then…go and get dressed for the party. They are also helping her in dressing up for the party, so you both would get ready in time,” his mother's words confused him.
“Helping her in dressing up?” he questioned, bewildered. Winona nodded her head before replying.
“Yes, I have called our city's one of the very famous make-up artist and clothes designer to help Eizlina in getting her ready for the party,” Winona informed him, and this concerned him a bit because he knew Eizlina was already not in the mood to attend this party and now this dressing up. It might disturbed her already worsened mood more badly.
“Did she agree to it?” He asked his mother directly to find out how she accepted to get ready by the people selected by his mother for her.
Winona's facial features slightly hardened at his question. She hated when her son questioned her decision because of that girl.
“She has no other choice except for the acceptance,” Winona uttered, coldly. Theron exhaled a heavy breath, understanding things were turning more and more messy here and all of this was hurting Eizlina the most here.
Without saying anything to his mother, he walked away from there, which made Winona clench her jaw.
Winona had clearly seen that concern in her son's eyes for that girl increasing with every passing day, but this concern would definitely end tonight ... .at any cost.
After dressing up in a formal and expensive matt black suit, he stepped out of his room while talking to Salvius on the call.
“Yes, we are leaving for the party,” he uttered on the call while striding inside the hall. Winona was still present there.
“Make sure to do everything the way I want it,” he uttered on the call and then hung up. He checked the time on his watch, and it was already 7 in the evening. They had an hour of drive from here to reach that party's location.
Where was she? His eyes were somehow restless to see her.
“Come here…” his mother's voice made him look at her, and he found his mother calling for house help.
“Go and call Eizlina here. Tell her, Theron is ready and he is waiting for her to leave,” Winona uttered to the house staff, who nodded at her in return.
The house help turned around to leave but stopped when she saw Eizlina.
“Mrs. Elzaek is already here…” the house staff's words immediately made him travel his grey eyes towards the entrance of that hall, and that was here….his gaze got stuck at her to the extent he even forgot to blink.
She was wearing a beautiful matte black evening gown, which perfectly matched his suit. Her hair was tied up in a bun. Her face wore a perfect amount of make-up, which enhanced her already sharpened facial features more elegantly. Her lips were painted in a blood red lipstick. Her beguiling brown eyes were glowing because of the shimmering makeup on her eyelids.
She was looking bewitching, like an ethereal enchantress, and his eyes had never seen someone or something so beautiful and breathtaking.
She was mesmerizing, in each and every possible way, for him. He had never encountered such kind of allure ever in his life.
Even his words could end, but they still wouldn't be enough to describe how beautiful she was looking at that moment or had always looked, for his eyes.
But even in that facade of materialistic beauty, he clearly caught that pain on her face, which had a surreal charm but it didn't succeed in masking her pain from him.
She was neither smiling nor looking at anyone present there. Her gaze was lowered, which made him sigh softly.
“We hope, we have done our work the way you had described, Ms. Elzaek,” the make-up artist uttered to Winona, who was also looking at Eizlina.
