As soon as he had the coordinates, Alexander contacted the Strategic Intelligence Agency. Gian had already mobilized their resources. A state-of-the-art rescue vessel was prepped and waiting at the docks, ready to depart at a moment’s notice.
At three in the morning, the docks were ablaze with light.
Alexander, dressed in a black tactical jacket, stood on the pier. His face was pale, but his eyes were as sharp as a hawk’s. He double-checked his gear: a sat-comm device, a trauma kit, and a GPS locator. Nash stood beside him with a team of elite bodyguards, their faces grim and set.
“Mr. Davidson, all systems are green. The vessel is ready to launch,” Nash reported in a low voice. “The SIA special tactics team is on board, out of sight in the lower deck.”
Alexander nodded, his gaze fixed on the black, churning sea. The wind whipped at his jacket, carrying the cold, salty spray of the ocean.
“Let’s go,” he said, his voice quiet but filled with unshakeable resolve.
The rescue vessel slipped away from the dock, cutting through the dark water as it headed for the South Pacific. Alexander stood on the deck, his hands gripping the railing, staring into the darkness as if he could see across the vast ocean to the island where Danielle was being held.
They were only halfway to their destination when the sea turned violent. Dark clouds rolled in, and a torrential downpour erupted, lashing the deck with thick sheets of rain. The ship pitched wildly in the surging waves, making it nearly impossible to stand.
Worse still, when Alexander tried to use the sat-comm to contact Gian, he found the signal was completely jammed. The screen was nothing but static.

“Sir, are you sure about this?” one of his bodyguards asked nervously. “Alexander has official support. We might be outmatched.”
“Are you scared?” Nathan sneered. “That island is my territory. If they dare to get close, I’ll make sure they never leave.” He had armed the island to the teeth. Even with government backing, Alexander’s team wouldn't stand a chance.
Just as Nathan was about to board his yacht, a familiar voice cut through the night. “Nathan, are you really going to see this through to the bitter end?”

I knew it! He’s in love with her but he thinks she loves his brother!...
Oh poor Bianca... regrets, regrets :)...
This is it! Revenge. Way to go Dani....
OMG! Chapters 451-462 had me on edge. I wish we could also read Alexander's POV. I swear I want to punch him and Millie. This story is kind of a push and pull. The main character will win some, then lose some. Hope the writer gives Danielle a big win....
I hope not a lot of important dialogues get cut out, especially between Danielle and Alexander. But I can't complain, really. Thank you again for the updates....
