Too Late She Already Married Mr. Right (Sophia) novel Chapter 221

Chapter 221

Sophia had already finished eating. She pushed her bowl aside and watched as the five of them stormed in, blocking the dining room doorway with a menacing look.

Kael had pieced it all together-Sophia was behind the whole setup, tricking him into sleeping with Margaret last night.

Just the thought of banging some old lady turned his stomach.

And it only made him even more obsessed with catching Sophia-the slippery little fox who’d slipped right through his

fingers.

Honestly, he felt like grabbing her and having his way, just to wash the taste of last night’s nightmare out of his brain.

“Ms. Evans, you really play dirty-even I got caught in your web,” Kael snarked, shooting her a look full of sarcasm.

Sophia sneered, her voice cold and sharp. “Please, Mr. Everhart, don’t pretend you’re some innocent victim here.

“If you were, Charles wouldn’t have thrown a birthday bash and invited only you-no outsiders, just you. Guess you really scored last night, huh?”

She finished with a lingering, taunting look thrown Margaret’s way.

Margaret burned with humiliation and snapped, “Sophia, you’re nothing but an animal!”

“Oh, give me a break, madam. One night with two guys? You want to talk about being an animal? You managed two guys in one night-how did that feel?

“I seriously thought you’d be stuck in bed all day, but it looks like you’ve got more stamina than I expected,” Sophia fired back, her voice dripping with mockery.

At those words, the maids snickered out loud, unable to hold back their laughter.

Margaret’s face went crimson and green with embarrassment, and she lunged at Sophia, aiming to slap her hard.

Sophia had seen it coming and spat coldly, “Just try it—if you dare land that slap, you’ll be the top trending name on Twitter

in no time.”

Margaret’s hand hung frozen in the air, her eyes burning red with rage and humiliation.

“You’re shameless! Filthy! Absolutely lowlife!” Margaret spat, trembling with fury.

“Seems like you’re just describing yourself,” Sophia replied, barely bothering to waste time trading insults.

“Mr. Everhart, looks like you didn’t lose out last night. What, you planning to stick around and catch the rest of the drama?” Sophia sneered.

Kael’s single eye flashed with hatred. “Sophia, this isn’t over. You’ll pay for this.”

Sophia let out a cold laugh and jerked her chin toward the bodyguards, signaling them to escort him out.

The four members of the Evans family saw the bodyguards, and their faces twisted with frustration-Sophia didn’t come unprepared.

Once she’d booted out all the extras, Sophia sprawled out on the sofa. “Alright, let’s talk Evans Group business, Uncle

Charles.”

Chapter 221

Charles had barely sat down before he practically jumped back up, like he’d sat on a hot stove.

“What did you just call me?” he snapped, disbelief written all over his face.

Sophia shot him a cold look. “You’re not deaf, are you? I got the paternity test. Turns out, we’re just blood relatives-you’re

no father of mine.”

Finished, she whipped out the test results from her bag and flung them at Charles’s feet.

After everything that happened last night, she wasn’t going to keep playing along with them ever again.

This was it-she was cutting ties with the Evans family for good.

Charles bent down and snatched up the paternity test. When his eyes landed on that glaring paternity ratio, his pupils shrank in utter disbelief.

So that was the real reason she’d spiked their drinks last night-and set Kael up in their room as part of her payback.

It wasn’t about going rogue-she had figured out she was never their daughter to begin with, just their niece. Cold, calculated payback once the truth came out.

No wonder she went ruthlessly even-handed, taking them all down without a lick of hesitation.

David and Emily crowded over, and when Emily saw the paternity results, she gaped, “No way—this has to be fake, right?”

Sophia leaned back, crossing her legs with a smug grin. “What’s real can’t be faked, and what’s fake can’t ever pass for real.”

“Paternity tests don’t lie, so tell me, dear Uncle Charles-who’s my actual dad?” Sophia sneered, her voice dripping with

sarcasm.

Charles’s eyes flickered with a sly, dangerous light.

‘So that’s why Sophia ran off to Ginkgo Town-she was snooping into where she really came from, Charles realized with a jolt.

‘How did she not end up buried in that damn earthquake?’ Charles thought bitterly, frustration gnawing at him.

Margaret saw the paternity test and finally dropped the act. “Your dad’s dead. He died not long after you were born.”

Sophia squinted at her uncle, voice sharp as a knife. “So tell me, Uncle Charles-did you murder my dad?”

“What kind of crap are you talking about? He was my real brother-like I’d ever lay a finger on him!” Charles snapped, genuinely pissed.

Sophia stared him down, refusing to blink. “So tell me, why did you have those traffickers ship me off to some backwater?

“An
