Too Late She Already Married Mr. Right (Sophia) novel Chapter 224

Chapter 224

The moment Sophia walked out, the villa was thrown into chaos.

Emily collapsed into a chair, her heart pounding with panic as she thought about Lucas showing up any minute now.

“David, what are we going to do? Last night was just an accident. Sophia set us up,” Emily blurted out, her voice trembling.

David watched her, feeling a heavy weight in his chest.

“You said it yourself, it was an accident. If he can’t understand that, it’s his problem, not yours. Don’t blame yourself,” David said, trying to sound reassuring.

Emily’s tears of rage streamed down her face, unable to hold back her frustration any longer.

Easy for him to spout off like that-it’s not like he’s the one who’s suffering, Emily thought bitterly to herself.

“It’s all Sophia’s fault! If she hadn’t set us up, we wouldn’t be in such a mess last night,” Emily choked out.

As soon as those words fell, Charles and Margaret, along with everyone except David, utterly despised Sophia.

‘If it hadn’t been for that backstabbing brat, we wouldn’t have ended up making such a joke of ourselves,’ everyone couldn’t help but think.

‘Now she has the nerve to ask for 300 million? She can dream on,’ they wondered.

Charles sneered, “Don’t ever bring up what happened last night again. As for Sophia, I only planned to spare her because she’s my brother’s only kid. But now? Forget it. She’s done for.”

David stared at him, voice shaky. “Dad, you’re going to kill her?”

“Murder’s illegal, but I can make sure she pays. I’ll send her off to Minwnorth and let her rot there,” Charles said, a dangerous glint in his eye.

Margaret scoffed, “I told you when she first came back that she wasn’t someone easy to deal with. But you wouldn’t listen, and even let her marry Lucas.”

“Look at her now-getting all cocky, actually daring to mess with our whole family,” Margaret said, her voice dripping with disdain.

Margaret kept hurling insults at Sophia, even though her thoughts kept drifting back to last night.

She’d been with Charles since she was eighteen, but he was always quick to finish, never really able to satisfy her.

But deep down, Margaret was too conservative-even after Charles got rich, she never had the guts to go fool around outside.

But what happened last night totally blew Margaret away-her head was spinning, and for the first time, she realized just how wild and mind-blowing sex could actually be.

But Charles was already past his prime.

Even with the pills last night, he barely managed a minute or two.

Thinking about this, Margaret instinctively glanced over at Charles, her eyes filled with a hint of disgust.

Remembering all the humiliation from last night, and now catching Margaret giving him that look, Charles felt an irrational wave of anger surge inside him.

“Honestly, you guys are just clueless. She slipped the drugs in right under your noses, and none of you noticed,’ Charles

sneered.

Margaret jabbed a finger at herself. “Really? You wanna pin this all on me now?”

“Who else should I blame, huh? You came up with that boneheaded plan and basically rolled out the red carpet for the enemy, Charles spat, his rage barely contained.

Just imagining Margaret practically losing her voice screaming for Kael made him see red.

Right now, Charles couldn’t stand the sight of Margaret-he wished he could kick her out of his life on the spot.

The two of them started hurling accusations at each other in an instant.

David couldn’t take their shouting match any longer, especially as the insults got uglier with each passing second. He slammed his palm down on the table, fed up.

“Enough! What’s the use in blaming each other right now?” David snapped.

Charles glared at his son, his thoughts a jumbled mess-especially remembering how David and Emily hooked up last night.

This whole family’s gone off the rails,’ he fumed to himself, feeling the chaos closing in.

“David, come to the study with me,” Charles ordered coldly.

This whole family’s been wrecked by Sophia, Charles thought, a bitter mix of rage and frustration swirling inside him.

In the study, Charles and David sat side by side on the couch, both their faces heavy with worry.

“Dad, what do we do next? How are we supposed to get her shipped off to Minwnorth?” David asked in a low voice.

“Give it a couple of days, then call her up and tell her we’ve got the money. Get her to come to the office-once she’s there, we knock her out and handle the rest,” Charles replied.

Charles had the whole scheme laid out, every step already planned.
