Too Late She Already Married Mr. Right (Sophia) novel Chapter 250

Sophia finished making the noodles, ladled on her special meat sauce, and dusted it with a bit of homemade chili powder.

She carried the steaming bowl out of the kitchen and placed it on the dining table. The villa was so quiet it felt almost deserted.

As she stepped out of the dining room, her eyes landed on the back of Richard's head—impeccably composed, as always.

"Mr. Sterling, | made some knife-cut noodles. You want to give them a try?" Sophia asked, feeling a little nervous around him.

Richard set his book down and got up, walking over to her.

"How could | ever refuse something made by your own hands?"

Richard said, towering over Sophia, his presence almost suffocating.

Sophia instinctively tried to step back, but there was a step between the dining room and the living room.

She tripped and started to fall backward.

Richard moved fast, catching her by the waist and pulling her back before she could hit the ground.

Sophia staggered and reached out blindly, her hands clutching at whatever she could to keep from falling, not even sure what it was she grabbed onto.

She ended up tumbling right into his arms.

Sophia froze, instantly realizing her hand had ended up somewhere it really shouldn't have.

With a pounding heart, she nervously glanced down.

That one glance nearly made her soul jump out of her skin.

Her hand was clutching Richard's shirt, and she'd pulled it open almost all the way, revealing most of his well-defined chest.

Sophia panicked, her heart nearly leaping out of her chest.

She shot upright, frantically letting go of his shirt in a rush.

"I-I'm sorry, | didn't mean to! | just lost my balance," she stammered.

Richard's lips curled into a playful smirk as he replied, "Even if you did, it's fine—I'm not that petty.”

With that, he leisurely fixed his shirt, buttoning it up with no rush at all.

Sophia's cheeks were burning, crimson enough to drip blood—she couldn't even steal a glance at him.
