Trash Husband, I'm the Top novel Chapter 211

Monica wore a thin, sultry nightgown that left almost nothing to the imagination, her curves on full display. But at this moment, she was sprawled awkwardly across the couch, hair mussed and dignity in tatters.

Mrs. Chambers’s words echoed through the room. Monica swallowed her embarrassment, forced herself upright, and moved toward the man bracing himself against the sofa’s edge.

Her lips trembled, cheeks burning, voice so soft it was almost a whisper, every word heavy with longing. Her eyes glistened with desperate affection.

“Dan, you want children, don’t you? I’m willing—I want to give you a child. I really do.”

She reached for Daniel’s hand, tears trembling on her flushed cheeks, the sight only adding to her allure.

“Our baby would be beautiful and clever, Dan. Please, just grant me this wish. I want us to have a child together—just one.”

She pleaded with all the hope she could muster.

But as Monica’s hand reached out, Daniel slapped it away without hesitation.

His palm pressed into the sofa, muscles straining so fiercely it looked as if he might rip through the leather. He could barely contain himself—his whole body burned with a feverish, primal need.

Yet he refused to give in.

He wasn’t a man who’d settle for just anyone.

Monica, rebuffed again, bit her lip in frustration. Suddenly, she steeled herself and threw her arms around him, clinging to his powerful frame. Her body trembled, all traces of shame gone, replaced by an uncontrollable excitement.

She refused to believe any man could resist a woman who threw herself at him so brazenly.

But once more, Daniel pushed her away—this time so forcefully that she landed hard on the floor.

Mrs. Chambers’s patience snapped. “Dan, what are you waiting for? Monica is the only one here—she’s the only one who can help you!”

Daniel glared at his mother, his blood boiling, but his heart icy cold.

She’d tricked him into coming here under the pretense of feeling unwell—then drugged him, trying to force him and Monica together.

It was cruel beyond words.

“I’d rather die here than lay a finger on her.”

Monica heard his merciless words, her knees buckling, tears spilling down her face.

Mrs. Chambers shrieked in outrage when she saw who it was. “Will! How dare you—”

Her voice rose another octave when she spotted the girl beside him. “Nora? Who said you could come here?”

Nora ignored her, striding purposefully into the room.

Her gaze went straight to Daniel.

His face was flushed an unnatural shade of red, fingers clenched white-knuckled around the sofa arm.

But when he looked up and saw her, his whole body seemed to relax.

Nora’s eyes flicked to the floor, where Monica lay curled up and trembling, her nightgown leaving little to the imagination.

It didn’t take much to piece together what had happened.

Nora’s voice was calm as she turned to Will. “Call Mr. Chambers and Hans. Tell them to get here, and have Daniel taken to the hospital—”

She didn’t finish. Daniel’s burning-hot body crashed into her as he pulled her roughly into his arms.
