Trash Husband, I'm the Top novel Chapter 351

Hans stubbornly held on, refusing to let go.

He looked up at the woman standing at the top of the stairs and reminded Daniel, “Nora’s watching you, you know.”

Daniel turned and saw Nora.

He glanced at her for only a second before turning away, then pulled harder.

Hans finally released his grip and even stepped back, shrugging with a careless air.

“Daniel, you’re the one who called me to pick her up. What’s this supposed to mean now?”

Daniel shielded Eleanor behind him, his expression grim. “Hans, whatever’s going on, she’s still your wife—and my sister. You’re being way too rough with her.”

Not even a shred of kindness or respect.

Hans arched an eyebrow. “So what?”

“She’s staying here tonight. Go home and cool off.”

Daniel knew perfectly well that if Hans took Eleanor with him now, there’d be a massive argument.

Eleanor let out a quiet sigh of relief. Payne stood silently behind Daniel.

Staying here was enough.

Hans spun his car keys around his finger, smirking. “You know Aurora can’t stand her. If you let Eleanor stay the night, how do you think Aurora’s going to feel?”

Daniel’s brow twitched. He looked up at Nora. “Aurora, there’s just a misunderstanding between Eleanor and Hans. Let her stay one night.”

Aurora’s gaze was cool and distant. “And if I say no, will you actually make her leave?”

Eleanor wiped her nose, her voice soft and meek. “I’ll stay downstairs. I promise I won’t bother you.”

Daniel sighed. “Aurora, is that all right?”

Aurora gave a faint, ironic smile. Daniel was asking for her permission, but his attitude made it clear he’d already decided.

He was going to let Eleanor stay.

He asked her, but he didn’t really care what she answered.

“Do what you want,” Aurora said, turning and walking away.

Eleanor forced a grateful smile. “You’re so kind.”
